Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Retires (again)

Mayweather, 31, announced his retirement from boxing again on Friday in a move that appears much more serious than his impromptu declaration two years ago. The rematch with De La Hoya has been cancelled and Mayweather will forego the accompanying $20-plus million payday.

Hmm...and there were rumors that Mayweather was contemplating working again with WWE after the rave reviews he got from wrestlers after his "match" with the Big Show at WrestleMania 24.

I could definitely see Mayweather doing a lot of promotional stuff for the next few years, maybe building his brand name and whatnot.
