Has that ever happened? 2 brother HC's coaching against one another?
[/quote]

Not only has that never happened, there have never been two brothers head coaching at the same time in the NFL.

Wow... and if he can get the 49ers turned around, it could be possible that we could have 2 brothers meet in the Super Bowl for the first time and the Super Bowl become the Super Harbaugh Bowl!

This should be fun... how well will Jim Harbaugh do in his first year as 49ers Head Coach?

49ers 2011 Schedule
Home:
Cardinals
Rams
Seahawks
Cowboys
Giants
Browns
Steelers
Panthers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers(They play a NFC South team, 49ers finished 3rd, and the Bucs finished 3rd)

Away:
Cardinals
Rams
Seahawks
Eagles
Redskins
Ravens
Bengals
Lions(They play a NFC North team, Lions finished 3rd in NFC North)

Looks like I'm going to have to fly to Baltimore for the game next year with my gf to show her which Harbaugh is best.

Sounds like a great plan.

Is it just me that's been shocked by Jim being younger than John?

I honestly thought that Jim was atleast a few years older when, in fact, John is 48 and Jim is 47.

Lol....Taco (FlaccoFlicker) and me were exchanging texts last night about this.

His words precisely were

"Another Harbaugh to cut Troy Smith!"

:lolpoof:

Congrats, Lil Harbs and good luck. We'll see ya at some point next season! :D

He has a small window to work with, Crabtree is a cancer, Gore has maybe two years left and most of the best players on the D are in their 30s. Then there are the QB issues.

I tend to agree with you, BloodRaven, there are some players which have baggage of their different sorts coming with them, and a number of aged players. Plus, will the Forty Niner brain trust be patient with Harbaugh, are they willing to show patience that wasn't shown to Singletary?

These are just questions looking for answers. I hope the answers will be found this coming season.
