Ravens Knock Off Chiefs/pats & Colts Knock Off Jets/steelers

55 posts in this topic

Here is what I would like to see the next 2 weeks
The Ravens beat the Chiefs and the Colts' thorn Patriots and the Colts help the Ravens by beating the Jets and the Ravnes' thorn Steelers.

Then the Ravens Colts meet for the AFC crown in 3 weeks....

Deal?

I'll shake on that. In fact that's pretty much what I'm hoping for. BFFs for next two weeks.

No deal. I don't even know any team named the Colts. I know there is the Indianapolis Peyton Mannings... but I don't think they should reach the AFC Championship.

I think a rematch of Week 1 between Ravens and Jets is a great storyline. It also would give the Ravens the opportunity to host a playoff game.

And even if the Jets don't make it to the AFC Championship, a rematch with the Steelers would be much more intriguing. Another AFC North battle between the two Rivals.

I'll take either of those match-ups over the Peyton Mannings in Indianapolis when they shouldn't be hosting anything.

Dude, you're not catching on here ...
We accept the deal, then stab 'em in the back after they beat the Jets and Steelers. Sheesh.

I'll shake on it but to be honest I'm hoping for a AFC Title game between the Patriots or Jets so I'm sorta pulling for the Colts to lose. Plus like someone mentioned if the Ravens/Jets are the Championship game... the Ravens finally get a HOME playoff game.

It's a trick! Funky has managed to get a hold of Peyton's Purple Kryptonite and is using it to brainwash us, Just say nay!!

I'm personally pulling for a Ravens/Steelers AFCCG, but then again, playing one at home against the Jets would be nice too.

Not the Colts though, no way! Lets wait until next years regular season game to get that monkey off our back.

You guys don't get it...Typically the Ravens don't fair well in Pittsburg as the Colts don't fair well in New England. So I was pulling for both the Colts and Ravens to win out to meet in the AFC Champ Game. If for some luck the Jets do beat Indy, they wont beat New England in Foxborough. Face it, Ravens will be playing all their games away. Both wildcards do not advance to the Champ game.

We also don't fair well against the Colts which is to your advantage. But if you guys can knock off the Steelers, I'm willing to concede to the opportunity.

Yeah I bet you'd love that. I don't care what anybody says, I don't want to see the Colts in the playoffs. I'd rather deal with the Pats, honestly.

I don't know if there's any match up that's more of a guaranteed coin toss than Ravens Steelers, even though the Steelers have gotten the best of us recently, without question. It's rough being the little brother lol.

If it makes you feel any better, despite the fact that we've come out on top more recently, they've all been nail biters for me as well. lol

Although, I felt that the AFCCG was closer than it should have been. I was getting pretty pissed until Troys pick.

The only team that I wouldn't absolutely die by losing to them is the Chiefs and I want a deep playoff run. I HATE the other 4 teams and their fanbases and don't wanna hear it from them....

So because of this, The Ravens just have to go all the way to the Superbowl. It's that simple.

I love how all the Indy and Pittsburgh fans are hoping that we are the team they see in the AFCC since they know they own us.

I don't care as long as we don't play Pittsburgh. I really don't want to play them. I'd rather lose to the Colts than the Steelers because I'd rather see the Colts in the Super Bowl.

Both opportunities bother me for different reasons.

If I had to choose, I would rather play pitts-burgh.

First things first though,,,,Kansas City.

Honestly i think we can take anyone of these teams that are in the afc play offs.

<Deleted>, we should be ok. just do some check downs to Ray Rice which i dont recall seeing last week. Rice is dangerous in the open field, not the fastest but is very very elusive < dont think i spelled that right ,all well.lol

I would be satisfied, not happy exactly, to see practically anyone but the Steelers or the Jets in the Superbowl. So yeah if this week goes well for the both of us, it's hopefully a deal!

No. No. No.

The Ravens beat the Chiefs. The Jets beat the Colts.

The Ravens move on to face Division Rival Pittsburgh Steelers for another Heavy Weight Match: Round 3. How great would that be? The Steelers are division champs by default. So it's only fitting that we beat them in the Divisional playoff round...Rematch for the Crown and an AFC Championship berth. We get a chance to avenge our AFC Championship loss 2 years ago and we get a chance to do it in PITTSBURGH. BRING IT!!

The Jets beat the Colts, the team that beat them last year in the AFC Championship, and move on to face Division Rival New England Patriots for another Heavy Weight Match: Round 3. Again, it's only fitting that they match up in the divisional round. They get a chance to avenge their blowout loss AND to reclaim yet again another AFC Championship berth...but this time in NEW ENGLAND!

The Jets, lead by former Ravens Defensive Coordinator Rex Ryan, come back to Baltimore to face the Ravens in the AFC Championship of the WORLD AND OF ALL TIME!! We beat them earlier this year...bring on round 2! The Ravens Quarterback Joe Flacco, first rookie quarterback in NFL History to win 2 playoff games and make it to the AFC Championship, vs. Mark Sanchez, 2nd rookie quarterback in NFL history to win 2 playoff games and make it to the AFC Championship, meat up again for their 2nd AFC Championship appearance....first EVER IN NFL HISTORY!!!

It comes full circle once again...

Bring IT!!

I WANT IT!!!

I NEEEED IT!!!!

No.

First, I'd rather see a Steelers/Ravens match-up than an Indy/Ravens match-up. Let's face it. There are no better games than those Steelers/Ravens games.

Second, if the Jets manage to make a run, it would give us the AFCCG at HOME. That is my fantasy outcome.

werd...
I was actually rooting for the Jets, only bc I want an AFC championship game at THE BANK in 2 weeks. Jets are our only chance for a home playoff game.

BYE BYE COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jets just called the Mayflower trucks to bring your golf clubs to ya!

Only reason this upsets me is that I wanted to go through New England first, but fine, We gotta play Pittsburgh now IF we win tomorrow
