My mom is so priceless.

When I said I was cheering for the Packers and she asked why I wasn't cheering for the Eagles,

her response to my answer was

"John Kuhn? What about Brett Favre?"

"Mom, Brett Favre hasn't been a Packer in like three or four years." *mental facepalm*

Now we'll get to watch one of the offensive powerhouses in the NFC, go home disappointed.

Think GB spoils Vicks run.

I don't know how I feel about having to face Roethlisberger, whom Flacco has yet to beat... assuming that we take care of business, which is far from a sure thing.
[/quote]

I'm so sick of hearing this. The Steelers scored more points in the first game without Roethlisberger. Flacco came through, at Heinz. The forced fumble that he lost in the 2nd game had nothing to do with Roethlisberger, it's the Steelers defense. They seem to force at least one turnover out of him every time we meet.

Eagles are struggling in this game. They could be in trouble. Green Bay is doing a great job of containing Vick. Plus they've lost DJ.

Yep. A lot of dropped balls this game on both sides.

Vick just can't get away from their front 7. But the Eagles learned a valuable lesson against the Giants. They know they can come back from anything.

That missed FG is going to be crucial. When you consider all GB has to do is run out some clock and score and again, game over. Looks like Philly will be 1 & done.

Usually Akers is amazing. But the Eagles just need a score here.

That was a big missed 2 point conversion. Now they need a TD. Celek's foot barely touched out of bounds. Truly is a game of inches.

Done!

Interception to end the game and a huge win for the Packers.

With Green Bay winning, this means our NFC Divisional Round games are Green Bay @ Atlanta and Seahawks @ Bears.

Atlanta has to be worried. Green Bay is not a team you want to face in the dome. I think GB takes out Atlanta.

And the Vick story ends. Green Bay is a force to reckon with as the wildcard.

along with his game losing interception....

Probably the last team Atlanta wants to see.

Back in Week 12, Atlanta defeated Green Bay 20 to 17 in Atlanta so it should be interesting to see what happens on Saturday Night.

I think Seattle could beat the Bears to be honest so we could have a Packers/Seahawks or Falcons/Seahawks NFC Championship game.

Seattle won't be the same team in Chicago. I think it'll be a divisional championship in Chicago. Packers @ Bears.

Guess Donovan wasn't the problem after all.

So glad we don't have to hear about Vick's redemption story this post-season. Also glad that Aaron Rodgers is giving the Packers some post-season success.

#1 - Vick deserves to feel bad. I'm glad they lost, and it was fitting for Vick to feel like he had the world at his fingertips and then have it all taken away.

#2 - Philly never appreciated McNabb, they don't realize how hard it is to be in the mix every year. Five NFC Championship appearances. One Super Bowl appearance.

#3 - I would have hated to hear about Rodgers not having won a playoff game. The guy is a great QB and only getting better. The defense giving up a last minute TD wouldn't have changed that. Luckily he got that monkey off his back.

In my story Vick never gets a job in the NFL again. B)

Yeah really. I believe the Eagles had had the best record since 2000 or something with McNabb at the helm. Letting him go was a crappy move and I'm glad they came up way short of where Donovan usually takes the team.

I like Vick, but if they had kept going we'd hear the same old Vick story over and over again. Did you know he was in prison?

Man.. this year's playoffs have everything a fan could want.. Upsets (Seahawks), tight matchups (all matches except for the Ravens blow-out :P) and let's not forget about the two hottest rivalry matches in the AFC in the divisional round (Jets @ Patriots and RAVENS @ STEELERS) as well as the potential NFCCG between the Bears and the Packers.

I think so too, but Ryan and the Falcons have literally been unbeatable at Home this season, and for pretty much Ryan's first 3 years. We'll see how "Matty Ice" performs on the big stage.
