Let's see if Sanchez can handle playoff pressure again. He's going to have to throw it, no running game to bail him out.

Oh and its going to be bad. A big playoff game against a team that's had him. He's going to be spewing chunks of garbage. Can't see them getting past Pats. Pats embarrassed them a few weeks ago.

[font="Verdana"][size="2"]I hope the Patriots take him and the Jets out in an even more embarrassing loss than their last meeting.

Pittsburgh will be an easier matchup but I really wanted a shot at the Pats. Oh well, there's always the AFC Championship.

Time to knock off KC.

I think what's even more amazing is that both teams who were in the Super Bowl last year got eliminated today.

...You want the Pats to take out the Jets....WHY?! I rather beat on the Jets AT HOME than play in New England against the Refs favorite pop singer,i mean QB...

Agreed. I didn't really expect either team to be back in the big game but I didn't see both teams being eliminated on the same day.

[font="Verdana"][size="2"]Sorry, wasn't thinking about our playoff implications but of my hatred for Ryan and the Jets (moreso Ryan).

Why? Because Rex Ryan despises the Patriots and Bill Belichick. An embarrassing loss to them in a playoff game would crush Ryan.

Well at least if we lose to the Steelers (if we beat KC) we won't be sending them to the superbowl. In all likelyhood they'd need to get past Pats.

But wow two divisional games for the AFC playoffs. What more can you ask for?

I had a funny feeling going into this weekend that the Divisional Round would end up featuring Part 3 of the Patriots/Jets & Ravens/Steelers and I don't even think Hollywood could write out a better script.

Same, and it was exactly what I wanted. Now the Ravens have to make it happen.

I'm loving the scenario. So if Jets knock off Pats, we knock off Steelers, we host the AFC championship game?

We gotta take care of business. I'm dying for a win against the Steelers. Not a 3 point win, by like 14 point win. Can't over look the Chiefs though. Can't wait for tomorrow!

Go Ravens!

So I think we may be in for either an Eagles-Patriots rematch, or a Falcons-Patriots Super Bowl.

I don't like either of these scenarios (outside of my Baltimore homerism). In one, Matt Ryan gets to a super bowl before Joe Flacco, and might even win. In the other, we get to hear about Michael Vick's "redemption" for 2 weeks. I might throw up.

I am praying for a Ravens Eagles in Dallas cause Jerry Jones hates them both and he wanted to see only His team there

So many ifs. Well three three to be exact. First we have to go into heated KC where playing in arrowhead is tough. This game will be tough. Then if we succeed on that mission we have to beat a Steelers team we never beat with Roethlisberger playing. They also seem to have a knack of putting us down like a dead dog. Then the Jets would need to lose to the Pats, they got spanked by the Pats a few weeks ago. They had no answer at Foxboro.

That situation is a long, long way aways. Possible.

I don't know how I feel about having to face Roethlisberger, whom Flacco has yet to beat... assuming that we take care of business, which is far from a sure thing.

Yeah Its a big mountain for us to climb. It'll be tough in Pittsburgh. But at least if we lose, we aren't sending them off to the Superbowl. Instead, probably a death match with the Pats.

The whole hoopla over reseeding needs to quiet down. Did Seattle having home field advantage magically give Marshawn Lynch an incredible tackling repellent when over half a dozen Saints missed bringing him down in what would be the game sealing TD run? Not at all. The Saints were overwhelming favorites and were up 10 points early on. They had every opportunity to win the game but did not. The Seahawks proved they had more heart and won this game and if not reseeding allows us to have one of the best games in NFL postseason history, I'm all for it.

Rex Ryan got the monkey off his back by beating Manning (even though he should have won in '06 if it wasn't for the Ravens typical putrid offense performance) and he did it without blitzing as much as he used to. I saw some great coverages and adjustments made on the defensive side of the ball and it was a great chess match up between the two. I hope the Jets beat New England next week so the Ravens have a chance at a home AFC Championship game hoping they roll in their next two games.
