That is the worst rule in football, hands down.
[/quote]

Not really.

Terrible throw by Ben after eluding the pressure.

How ironic and funny would it be if the Jets made a comeback and it was Santonio Holmes making the game winning catch to send the Jets to the Super Bowl.

The rule is framed terribly. Giving the kicker all benefit of the doubt when a defender has MILLISECONDS to decide whether or not to dive to block the ball follows the guidelines of a horrible rule. What that Jets defender did is the definition of how close a guy can get without touching the ball whilst trying to block it. The NFL is saying that a defender should be able to tell the difference in timing between being able to get to the ball and how close that Jets defender got. Ridiculous. Being blatantly late is a lot different than what that guy did.

It is a terrible rule. I may have exaggerated, but it is awful and follows the guidelines of NFL trying to be "safe" but being hypocritical.

That would be a smack in the face. I'm surprised the Jets are still in this thing. Maybe the Steelers pull off a second half fail.

Couple quick cheap hits.....standard

Gold Standard. Steelers are the best at getting things in late.

When you put it that way, I agree.

Wow. Big goalline stance. That was huge for the Jets to score there. Chances of winning this game now dropped significantly.

Stupid play. That sealed the game. I would have kicked the FG and got the 3, the way the Jets defense has been playing Rex should have let the defense get another 3 & out and try to get more than 3 on the next drive.

Up the gut with LT? Hahahahahaha

Its funny because I"m enjoying watching all the failed plays on both side. Its the only thing that has me watching this game.

That was awesome. I wonder how the Jets fans feel after that stuff.

They're no worse off than they were when they were down by twenty-whatever.

Pitt fail!
