Madden 12

I will say this: this is the most excited I've been about a Madden game ever. Period. I think they're trying to please us fans since we may be dealing with no NFL for a year, so they figured that they could make their die-hard football fans happy again with a solid release of Madden.

I pray that you're right! I just got done reading the blog in entirety of the additions to the franchise mode this year, and I must also say that I respect the guy who's taken it over. He seems to actually be interested in what fans have to say about the game, instead of just releasing the same crap over and over again.

Madden 12 is copying the NHL series of success by actually finding out what the fans want and then implementing as much of that as they can each year. It's pretty obvious, give the people what they want...

Who's going to the Midnight Release for Madden 12 and will you wear your Ravens Jersey? I'm going to the midnight release here at a local gamestop in NC and going to wear either my Flacco or Ray Lewis jersey, haven't decided which one.

I'm going to my first one this year, I'm actually probably going to just play until like 1 am to get an idea of it, and go through the rosters and get them set up right and than go to bed, and than just play it all day Friday.

Saw this on Operation Sports:

Pre Game Intro for the Lions and Redskins game. I think it's pretty cool how they have the team intro and than the announcer announces Calvin Johnson & Matthew Stafford at the end individually. Can't wait to see a Ravens pre game intro.

That is 100% better than last year. Hopefully they've also fixed it because in franchise mode on 11, after Ray had retired the best ILB on the roster would do Ray's dance before home games. That sucked a bit because it won't ever happen.

It looks like they fixed kick returns and the tackling animations look pretty good. I like the new camera angles too.

The defense needs to be amped back! 1. Safeties converge on deep passes way too fast. In the real world 1 safety cant cover the whole deep of the field, but on madden a safety can run from one sideline to the other and int the ball!?!? 2. Linebackers and defenders in general swat more passes than they should(this was even pointed out in a Game Informer issue a few months back).

Madden has to simply get rid of some of the difficulty settings(5). They should only have 3 settings. [b]Has anyone noticed that on the Pro setting you can hit the L2 button on offense and face up for a catch BUT on All-Pro if you hit L2 it doesnt do anything!?[/b] But on all settings if defense hits L2 they can face up instantly every time!

Just rushed for 343 yards on 15 carries with Ray Rice (Madden 11) against a guy with over 600 games played and a winning records. Two rushes were from 90+ yards....and both were untouched it was unbelievable.

Just rushed for 428 yards on 26 att and 8 TDs with Ahmad Bradshaw! My best game ever this guy could not stop the run. Unfortuantly he quit and I couldnt take Pic of stats! I had it in my camera too!

This Madden is boring. I got it on the 26th, played an entire season, lost in the AFCCG and did the whole typical offseason routine. I will say that Jimmy Smith is a beast in that game, but Flacco's accuracy is terrible. Time to pop in NBA 2K12!

Yeah I been using it and am enjoying it very much. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't like Madden 13.
