I didn't make the video, that was the video teaser EA released for Madden 12. It was suppose to be a little teaser, and the only things I liked in the video was the graphic of Ray Rice showed a Flame next to his name that faded to a snow flake, which I'm guessing means player hot streaks and cold streaks in Madden 12. If the Hot/Cold streak helps progression that would be a huge positive in terms of the potential rating possibly changing before it settles on 1 letter grade instead of a permanent Potential grade.

The other thing I liked was the one of the Titans where it showed a new team introduction graphic... with Cheerleaders!

Oh I know, like I said it was only meant to be a teaser. Like I pointed out there were only 2 things that stood out to me. Plus EA made out a schedule for when they will be revealing certain things about the game so this is just the beginning.

Yeah but maybe that means they changed the way progression works and it will work like it use to on the PS2, progression every few weeks, so those symbols would mean if your player is on a hot streak or isn't doing well. So it looks EA took the old progression system, and brought it back but did things to make it look "new."

Here is the Schedule for when EA will release certain info about Madden 12:

April 28 - Playbook #1: X-Books & Gameplay & Playbook #2: Presentation

June 6 - Playbook #4: Dynamic Player Performance

June 20 - Playbook #5: Madden Ultimate Team

To me May 16th is Doom Day, I want to see something done to Franchise Mode or I most likely won't buy it if they don't change Franchise Mode at all.

If IGN is right about player tendencies and madden actually makes that affect each player then thats a pretty big step....that I was badgering for in 2008. The pressure field goals...ya NCAA 09 had that for the PS2, as well as your QB not being able to see the route the WRs were running when the game was tight and the crowd was loud when you were on the road. They really REALLY need to include a consistency ratings in Madden, it disturbs me to no end running into guys online who are using DBs with 95+ speed as WRs and they are getting separation, catching the ball, and holding onto it when they get hit. Or back in the day when Yamon Figurs was a beast. Include a consistency rating to make players perform how they do in real life.

I don't know if it would be wrong to be cheering this but I'm happy they have it. I always thought it should have been in the game since that is apart of the real NFL. The only issue is it won't matter if they didn't fix the way IR works, that has always been an issue.

I'm late to this discussion but here are my suggestions for Madden 12 regarding online play since that's all I do.

1) Cancel online subscription to anyone pause or audible glitching. Ends the problem immediately. EA Sports is a joke for not already doing this.

2) Allow defensive players to adapt to the same play being run 90% of the time. If a team is in 4 wr's running double pick crosses over and over, the CBs shouldn't get picked every time. I can manually double one with a safety but I can't manually cover 2 people. Thats just retarded AI.

There are many other annoying things about madden's game play, but generally there's a counter to all of them (e.g. nanos, unrealistic bumpnrun, raiders).
