My wishlist:
1. Weather change dramatically throughout the game...
2. More customizable stuff for players
3. Have CBS, NBC, FOX, and ESPN with the ACTUAL ANNOUNCERS
4. As in #1 for example have it start to snow in the 4th quarter or make it go from late afternoon to night and have it feel cold or hot
5. Have a controler than changes TEMP to make it cold or hot

Stadium designer
Suspension system
Captain settings for D ST and O
Season Progressive Training - Train multiple players a season changing it up week to week as needed
as Far as announcing I would like to see the Story mode Announcing tightened up alot .
a Moral Meter - coupled with alot of features like halfime Speaches , and negative moral causing players to lose cool alah Houston Brawl or when we had our team get in tussles with the bengals.

How would this work? The only thing other than a drug suspension is an illegal hit or a suspension by the franchise owner (you).

look at the Moral Meter , actualy it could be fore any number of break downs on the field a player can be suspended by the league for numerouse things from illegal maliciouse hits to purposely hitting a ref . these 2 could go hand in hand

i second that, i used to live for playin CB on ss mode haha, camera was zoomed in on the corner, now its far away, plus u can contorl the offense but snap comes immediate, pretty dumb, madden 09 was the best, u got attributes throughout the game, it was way more involved

I just want the people at EA to sit down and examine NFL 2K5 and why it's still revered in some circles as the greatest football video game ever made.

Hopefully it will inspire them, but they're probably just going to add one new feature, change the box art and call it a day.

Yeah they'll probably do some strange minor tweak.

Like focus in on coach's challenges. You'll be able to choose where you want to keep your red challenge flag (i.e. sock, backpocket) and the ability to actually thow the flag (i.e. underhand, direction, etc). Special Collector's edition would include an actual red flag!

The defense needs to be amped up back to around Madden 9/10 style, it is too easy to put a crazy amount of points on the board whether it be against the CPU on All-Pro or Online.

Also need to tweak the "your skill" level. One game you can run like crazy on a team, the next game your offensive line is getting plowed over while you magnetically get pulled into the defender for a loss. Too much variation.

The two main things that need changing for me are:

1) Franchise mode depth: I admit I'm pretty hooked on franchise mode on 11, but there is plenty of room for improvement, especially when you think it was virtually untouched from Madden 10. Much more could be done to the offseason, such as training camp and rookie holdouts and all kinds of things.

2) Superstar mode improvements: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE COMBINE? This was so good on Madden 09 (the earliest one I got) so why take it out? And how you do the drills rather than select where you want to use points on specific attributes. Why would a wideout want 65 kicking power? Also, I find whenever I try to play defense, the offense always sucks so bad to the point where you can't win a game.

3) Online lag: Better servers required. I'd also like an improvement on the Online Team Play that they introduced this year. FIFA has a clubs mode which is really addictive, I feel Madden could take this idea and use it and take the game to a whole new level. Especially if the whole virtual pro idea is implemented.

Funny thing is people would still go out and purchase it no questions asked.

#3 is pretty much impossible to happen aside from ESPN and one set of announcers. EA already has the license to ESPN, but they would then also have to purchase the rights to CBS, NBC, and Fox. That would only increase the cost of production, as would having to get six or seven more guys into the studio for voice overs. Let's face it, we already hear the same lines every game (some are straight from '09).

While I would love to have the matching presentation depending upon which night and time you're playing, it's just unfeasible and would give EA more incentive to jack up the pricing of the game (although this time it would be slightly justified). I'd just love it if EA would actually spend some more time on the commentary itself, even if it's just Collinsworth (ugh) and what's-his-face.

As for #5... uh... that would be very uncomfortable and interfere with playing the game when you have to grip a "hot" or cold piece of plastic. Let's not forget, if it were to actually happen somehow, it'd be another piece of hardware you'd have to buy. If you want a hot or cold controller, just put your's in the microwave or freezer after you see what the weather of your next Madden game is going to be*

(* I am in no way responsible for anyone's controller if they're stupid enough to actually try to microwave their controller)

Just add alot more depth to the Franchise and Superstar Modes, get defense up to par with offense, and keep the ratings consistent. I will buy if they just add depth to those modes.

Wow, here goes:

Allow the PAL Version of Madden to import draft classes from the relevant NCAA. Not having it is a rip-off and, technically, discrimination! (Maybe a bit far...)

I want a combine! I want to have to really evaluate draft prospects, not just hit X on the top potential players in every class. Make athletic skills (strength, speed, agility, acceleration etc.) count a lot more towards potential than actual player skill, for draft prospects anyway. Athletic freaks don't just wander into the NFL as a high skill, low potential player. Have the draft feel more immersive, as opposed to pressing X on the player you want from a list. Remove that stupid 10 Pick cap thing - it's stupid, pointless and unrealistic. While on draft picks: let me trade future picks, like they do in the NFL all the time.

Add pass rushing moves - have Finesse moves broken down into the likes of spin, dip 'n' rip and the like to give it a more user controlled feel, rather than move right or left on the analogue stick and pull out some boring move that's been around since Madden 08. Have "Hand Usage", "Technique" or a variation of such as a key attribute to DEs, DTs and 3-4 OLBs. It's SO important in the NFL, yet EA dont even recognise it. Infact, have that for tackles/guards/centers too. Make stunts worth using, not just something that makes you go "Oh Look, my end is working on a guard while my D tackle works on a tackle!". That would also give awareness a use in offensive linemen. The best schemes cause confusion for offensive linemen/quarterbacks which leads to sacks, unlike Madden where you either Nano Blitz, overload or just beat your guy 1-on-1. Ohh, also make o-linemen vs d-linemen more of a battle, not just having the o-lineman maul his opponent to the ground or get beaten by one of the awful, pre-programmed "moves.

Make the entire Franchise Mode feel more immersive as a GM experience. As someone else said, bring BACK morale meters. If a player is discontented they should really perform under their potential. What's the point of a Franchise Tag if every player on your team takes a reasonable contract?

Allow the player to call offensive line audibles - not just shift left/right, pinch and aggresive. If I see a guy thats going to come, free, to the ball carrier/QB before the play I want to be able to adjust the o-line accordingly. Also, cudos on adding the double team blocking - just a shame you executed it pathetically. I want my centre and guard both mauling a useless defensive end while their linebacker blitzes right past my linemen, dont I?

Let the player have more freedom in Franchise mode, instead of making it so predictable and linear.

Get the NCAA team to make both NCAA 12 and Madden 12 while sacking the entire Madden team. NCAA atleast gets better annually while improving/adding features and improving gameplay. The Madden team sit around doing nothing the entire year while taking home sizeable pay checks and for what? Being the world's most useless game design team?

Ohh and their "Ratings Guru" is useless. The guy couldn't evaluate an football player if his life depended on it.

Rant over.

Few Things:

1) More User Customization: We are in a day of age where most games have gave more user control to the player. In Madden I have yet to see that.

2) Create-A-Player Expanded: Give us back the control of selecting his hair, head, eyes, face separate again.Other wise you have a bunch of created players who look the same. I also would like to see something where you can decide what to do with that player when it comes to Franchise Mode. You can set him on the roster of a team right away and have him play from the beginning, or you can choose his rookie year, if you choose 2nd year, than he won't show up on the roster your first season but be there on the second season. This way if you create say Patrick Peterson after Denver drafts him, instead of him being a rookie in 2010, you can set him to where he is a rookie in 2011 like in real life.

3)In Depth Franchise: This is the only game mode I play, I want them to fix contracts, the AI and make them smarter in terms of signing players and drafting players. Also have achievements or things you can unlock through Franchise like Classic teams. Fix the playoff seeding issue. This goes back to the customization, allow us to fix the schedule for every week. Like how you in NCAA you can customize your schedule, well since the NFL has a set schedule you can't customize it but change the times and days people play, allow us to have our own Flex Scheduling. Allow us to edit the NCAA Imported Draft class, let us change his round a player is projected in, and his OVR.

4) This is a suggestion I made on the OS boards, which I think will help improve Franchise greatly even before you go into Franchise:

Give Us Bars for every player that we can move between 0-100:

- Willingness to Re-sign: We move the meter from 0 to 100, obviously if it's a high number that player will be re-signed, like Peyton Manning. On the other hand I could go to Vincent Jackson and lower his willingness to re-sign to say 30% where the Chargers let him go and be a Free Agent, similar to real life.

- Franchise Tag: This would just be the percentage that this player may end up Franchised instead of giving a long term deal. This also ties into the above and below with trade. Let's say the willingness to re-sign is low, but also you know that the team won't give them up easily and may want something in return. Example, Vincent Jackson's re-sign % is 30%, but his Franchise Tag is set up to 80% which will guarantee him the Franchise Tag.

- Trade: This is the percentage that a player may end up traded to another team, now this alone could improve the AI's ability to trade with each other and make offers to the user. Keeping with the example, I could adjust VJ's trade percentage to 90% where he'll ultimately get the Franchise Tag & be put on the Trade Block from there.

Retirement: For this, we don't need a bar for percentage a guy will retire, with this we just need to adjust a players retirement year in the game, adjusting your pre-determined Retirements. This would actually allow players to go and change the retirement year to say Year 1(meaning they retire after the 1st season) if they were to retire after the 2010 season. Let's use some players from last year, Walter Jones & Kurt Warner both retired last year but in Madden 10 both stayed for extra years, so if we had this last year we could have went in and adjusted it where Warner & Jones retire after the 1st season.

Expand The Roster: Why can NCAA have a roster max of 70 player but Madden still has a 53 roster max? Expand the Roster to 70 and add a Practice Squad where when you cut down rosters, you have to cut down to 53, but with 70 players on the roster, you can choose 8 to put on a PS while the rest is cut and become free agents.

LOL, well obviously the computer isn't going to put 30 points a game up on you. In Online the defenses stink for the most part.

Superstar mode needs to be better, like a 2k Sports type of my player mode, offensive lines should be able to pick up nano blitzes, and please get different commentators.........Jim Nantz/Phil Simms for Madden 12 announcers!

They can, when you see a LB in either the A or B gap just shift the line to protect that way, works almost every time. I thought this years announcers were far better than past Madden games.

That works for weak nanos, but not the stuff you see on the pro circuit ladder. I play this game competitively at a professional level for a little extra money here and there, and I wish people on the pro circuit ladder would play real football instead of abusing game mechanics.

In terms of the announcers, I hate the way they haven't changed Chris from last year, and Gus is constantly getting calls wrong for some reason--much more than past maddens.

Yeah if they do more than that they are abusing the mechanics of the game, which unfortunately far far far too many people do online. I started playing way less online since people were doing that.

Well that's easy, how many times have you two played eachother? If you've played someone more than a few times you start to get used to what they like to do, what plays they like to run in certain situations and their tendencies.

There is the odd low scoring game though, I've been in 10-7 games as well as 56-49 games against the same person.
