AFC North Division Last 3 Years

Because we love road playoff games???
That's what I'm thinking... I mean who wouldn't love to go to Miami, Tennessee, Pittsburgh, Foxboro, Indy and this year we get to go to Kansas City! Since there is that small chance the Ravens and Jets make it to the AFC Championship game... that would be a home game for us so since we love playing on the road we better pay off the refs so Indy wins Saturday Night. On a serious note this might be it... DIVISION RECORD

2008: 4-2 (Steelers went 6-0 in the Division)

2009: 3-3 (Bengals went 6-0 in the Division)

2010: 4-2 (Steelers are 5-1 in the Division)

Sure 11-7 Division record over 3 years isn't bad but that seems to be where the team has to improve as a whole. Sure we have team needs on the roster but we aren't going to get a top seed if we can't win our division. Beating Cleveland twice may give us 2 divisional wins but we have to beat the Bengals and at most split with the Steelers.

We havent beaten the Steelers with Roethlisberger, and we can't beat the Bengals cov 2 defense and cant block their front 4.

Should sum it up lol

This is the best answer. This pretty much sums up our last few years. Bad news is that Marvin Lewis might be back and we know Roethlisberger will be (barring any additional dropping the pants penalties).

Has anyone thought why are we always 2nd in the AFC north the last three years.
Because we suck and settle for second best! Prove I'm wrong, oh you can't because once again we take the ROAD into the playoffs! And once again we will get bounced! Sorry but three years in the playoffs is all fine and dandy. but getting bounced closer and closer every year AINT GETTING THE JOB DONE!! And prove that it is getting it done then, if you feel otherwise!! You can't because there is no super bowl trophy there to back any reason up you have to argue! Yeah Joe got them to the AFCCG in his rookie year, yeah that's all fine and dandy as well, and he got to what the divisional round his second year right? So that's making progress in the playoffs??? Don't worry I'll wait! And now here we sit in his third year, and yup I will predict we get bounced once again, so then what will be your excuses?? Three years and three years of getting bounced with an extra year of experience each time! Gee go figure, they are slumping play wise each and every year when they enter the playoffs. What's it going to take? All you Flacco riders, what's it going to take? Yeah I damn sure am early, because sorry they might be 12-4, but I will put my life on it, that they will ONCE AGAIN get bounced and every one will have another freaking excuse as to what happened, or what they didn't do and BLAH BLAH BLAH!! Settle up with the Pittsburgh fans and bring both your excuses together. It's sick and when they get bounced once again this year, HARBS YOU GET ONE YEAR EXTENSION you either get to the show and make it a show, or you're GONE!!! YUP HARBS WHEN YOU FAIL ONCE AGAIN THIS YEAR, YOU BETTER DO SOMETHING NEXT YEAR!! Or well I'm sure Jim would love to try your job out!!!

Because we are PREDICTABLE on OFFENSE, and our Division rivals know our tendencies, thats why its usually a low scoring game, because we aren't fooling anybody.

No excuses. We did this to ourselves by not finishing off the Steelers at home.

I'd blame our own team before SJ. We lost to Cincy and we couldn't beat a broken down Steeler team at our place.

Wow...thats all I have to say. What do you expect a Super Bowl every year? One team gets to hoist the trophy every year. One. Theres no shame in what we have done the past 3 years. In fact, you should be proud regardless of what happens this postseason.

So true. But I can say this much. The expectations this year are pretty much Superbowl or bust. If this team falls short in either of the first two games of the playoffs, we are going to have a slew of disgruntled fans. I'm still trying to figure out if I'll be one of them or not (maybe for a day).

I'll be expecting one playoff win for the Ravens this year. If we lose in KC, that's disappointing, but I'll still be a Ravens fan NO MATTER WHAT. Any win past the wild card will be amazing.

We're LOSING because of all this UNNECESSARY CaPiTaLiZaTioN and LACK of punctuation

Also it's because we lose some games in the division.

Someone mentioned our inability to beat Big Ben, nor crack Mike Zimmer's defence. These are both dead on.

I still feel these shortcomings lie in our own hands. Both these teams know us well, and have figured out our rather predictable approach to the game. Cam Cameron is outsmarted time and time again by LeBeau and Zimmer, it's as simple as that for mine.

Since our season is over... I think we have to focus on at least sweeping the Bengals, sweeping the Browns isn't as big as a deal as it was before. If we sweep the Bengals and Browns we can stay with the Steelers. We need to have a 5-1 Division record to have a chance at winning the division next season. I'm tired of playing road games in the playoffs, I want a bye and a home playoff game so we better improve upon our division record.

For the record, although Steelers game loss came without Roethlesberger, our home loss also came minus Reed and Heap, if not mistaken. We both had key palyer. deficits.

We had heap but was without McClain the FB instead. So our two best support blockers were out.
