That's a pretty nice schedule. We'll have to see what Chargers we'll get.

her's hoping we get them early in the season, as opposed to when they go on there end of season tear and nearly make the playoffs

So it looks like I'll be making a trip to B'more this year for either the Steelers or Colts, depending on when they are.....might even be able to make it to Jacksonville.

I like the schedule, I think we should do just as well next year if not better.

I hope that the Indy game is not in December like it was the last time. Besides that it was the year we were playing spectacularly bad football, it also started pouring down rain in the 45 degree weather. A great way to ruin viewing my first live Ravens game, so I'd like a shot at redemption on that one.

A lot of people think this will be an easy schedule, but I disagree.
A lot of the teams we think are weak are greatly improving.
Not to mention we'll have to travel to the west coast twice, which can be difficult for an east coast team.

HOME
Pittsburgh Steelers
Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns
Indianapolis Colts (I expect the Colts to be a much better team next season)
Houston Texans (Same with the Texans, I think they can only improve)
San Francisco 49ers (Some people thought they would have improved by now, but with a new coach they could really be a good team next year)
Arizona Cardinals
New York Jets

AWAY
Pittsburgh Steelers
Cincinnati Bengals
Cleveland Browns
Jacksonville Jaguars (Have really improved this season and should be good next year as well)
Tennessee Titans (Titans are on the right path, depending on the QB situation)
St. Louis Rams (The Rams have impressed a lot of people this season. Bradford looks like the real deal)
Seattle Seahawks (They actually made the playoffs this season and it's an away game on the west coast which could give us trouble, in one of the loudest stadiums in the league)
San Diego Chargers (The Chargers are always a threat, and actually a disappointment this season, but again, it's a west coast road game)

Bengals could have a new HC and TO and Ocho might not be there, which could be a good thing.
The Browns are improving, and will have a new HC, they are becoming a tough team.
The Steelers might be the defending SB Champions next season.
So our division is only getting stronger, and we have a lot of issues with age and with our offenses effectiveness.
I think it's a tougher schedule than it appears.

With the announcement of Jim Harbaugh becoming Head Coach of San Fran, anyone think Jim/John may request that the Ravens/49ers becomes Prime Time game? I heard Jim say in the press conference that he talked to John and John said he would make sure the game would end up on Thursday Night or something. What do you think?

Home:
I agree with the Colts statement, assuming Austin Collie can come back healthy. That defense will likely still be piss-poor, however. Everyone has also said the Texans are improving every year, which clearly they don't do. With Jim Harbaugh at the helm, I definitely see the 49ers getting better, but maybe not next year.
Away:
Jacksonville is a very confusing team. I don't think Garrard is any good whatsoever, but they do have MJD, who when healthy is always a threat. Tennessee really needs to draft a QB, Kerry Collins is washed up. The Rams are the other team, besides SF, that catch my attention mainly b/c of Sam Bradford, as you said. You're right, Seattle has one of the best homefield advantages in the NFL, but that's only if they can sell tickets. San Diego is just San Diego, and you have to catch them at the right time.

The division is going to be interesting. Marvin Lewis is returning as Bengals HC, which undoubtedly will make for some close games. The Browns are another team that "improve" for one half of a season or the other, but always end up bad. And the Steelers, well...

I agree with you, that this schedule is a lot tougher than it looks right now.

Obviously, we know we always play the teams in our division and those games, as in any division, will be tough.

Compared to this year, this schedule is "easy" and we have good reason to be optimistic.

I'm sorry you got rained on, but we couldn't hope for a better situation playing the colts or any other dome team.

Looking at that schedule I see 2 Guaranteed Prime time games with the Steelers/Jets and the only other two games that could be Prime time games are the Colts and Chargers.
Knowing how the NFL loves drama, how about prime time for Ravens/49ers to put the Harbaugh brothers on the national stage?
