If Ravens Play Indy, Bench Flacco For Bulger

122 posts in this topic

Entering this final game, 25 TDs, only 9 INTs, 94.6 QB rating (almost better than Peyton Manning in his third year), 62% completion rating, nearly 3,500 yards.

In a word: no.

have you only watched the bengals games? Flacco is actually not that bad
Although it is a ludicrous idea, the point to be made is he truly does struggle against the cover 2. In year 3 and now having played the Bengals 6 times he should be able to move the ball.

This kid cant do ANYTHING against a cover 2. Ravens have to seriously consider this
Do you even know what Cover 2 means? How about you check out our schedule and figure out how many cover 2 defenses Joe has picked apart this season.

His one throw that was picked off was horrible, outside of that he basically completed every pass today. The O-Line can't block for crap, and Cam Cameron makes Matt Cavanaugh look like Bill Walsh as far as being creative on offense.

This guy doesn't even notice how bad he is. And the defense is pretty much pathetic as well. If we play Indy we don't even have to show up there with this type of performance on offense and defense. They'll pick us apart, as always.

It seems all people care about is stats. The kid is playing bad. Im not for benching him, but bulger should have played the majority of the snaps today. Defense will be tired for next week. Looks like this can be a short playoff experience. Hopefully we get the chiefs, we look terrible. Good job Harbaugh playing the starters all game with three key injuries ......wow extension

Great idea. Bench the QB that led us to 3 straight playoffs in his first 3 years. Great plan :34853_doh:

I'm not going to come on here and say that Flacco doesn't struggle against the cover 2, but if anybody else in the entire stadium today had called plays, we would have looked more competent on offense.

Never have I been such a hater, but Cam needs to go. He has absolutely no idea how to utilize the players we have, or make adjustments when defenses are playing well.

We faced plenty of cover 2 teams this year

You have no idea what you are talking about, just stop it. Bulger is awful.

Have you SEEN him last year when he was on the rams???

Ummm, sure Joe stinks against Cincy and Indy, but he's guided us to a 12-4 record for pete's sake... it won't matter since we're going to be playing KC anyway.

Im more livid at the amount of injuries we had this game to key players, in a nothing game as soon as Pitt went up 14, like really...what is Harbaugh doing.

Additionally, Joe holds the ball too long. There is no way you're going to wait for your reciever to complete his route before you throw. He needs to know he doesn't have all day to throw the ball.

I disagree with you that defense were playing bad: 2 pick 6s, 3 fumbles. If let a defense have 65-70 snaps, they will wear down, no matter how strong your defense are...

Flacco fold against Indy's defense, with some help from Cam

Has this poster forgot how Bulger was in St. Louis? With the pressure our O-line allows at times, Bulger would be turnover city...

I'm disappointed the offense struggled as well, but benching anyone at this point is not the answer.

Joe holds the ball too long because his receivers cna't get a lot of separation

You do realize the Ravens may not play the Colts in the post-season right?

To say the least we shouldve lost this game 100% against any other winning team with this piss poor offense. But thankfully Bengals played AWFUL today(5 turnovers?). I just hope HOPE the better part of our offense can come out playing chiefs in playoffs. Else we are one and done.

as much as i would love the scenario but i have never seen a 12-4 team that fired it´s coach after such a season. i am sure that everybody on this team is disappointed about our offensive performance this year but they will sit down ans talk and say that they wanna change some stuff but nothing gonna be changed.

i almost laughed as i read that cam wants to use q more....

even if we win it all this year i would fire cam because he is holding our offense back!!!

Flacco is likely to face a chiefs team that gave up 31 points at home. I have more confidence that this offense can bounce back against a young team with inexperience and a let down like that could hurt them.

Your idea makes no sense regardless. So the team should play Joe against anyone else but not against Indy?
