A while back, after going to one of my first ravens games, i went to planet hollywood to eat and there was like all this talking going on about someone famous eating upstairs. well after a little bit of asking around, come to found out it was Peter Boulware. So we went up, and talked to him for a little. He asked if we enjoyed the game and yadda yadda. I've also met Todd Heap at a car show in Abingdon, MD

When I was twelve years of age, I met comedian Archie Campbell, of "Hee Haw" fame, at an auto dealership, where he was promoting the new models on the scene. I also recall that Archie was a distant cousin of mine.

In chronological order::

I met Michael Jordan & Reggie Miller @ a Pacers pre-game when I was 14.

I didn't actually get to meet him, but when I worked at a music store Sammy Hagar was being pestered by the towns people & press (Shelbyville, IN) -- one of his bodyguards asked if I could sneak him out the back of the store. They pulled their tour bus to the back & I locked the door behind him when they walked in. Lead them through the store. I did receive an autographed hat a few weeks later. Gave the hat to a friend who was a big Van Halen fan.

I also met Sylvia Brown (psychic) while working at the same music store. She came in to buy incense (Nag Champa to be exact). I sold her our entire stock & she gave me her card and told me to call her when we had more in. I laughed -- shouldn't she know when it'd be in?

Lastly, I met Grayson Capps an hour before a show in Lexington, KY & hung out in the parking lot with him & the band for three hours while they were putting away their gear and drinking. Best 6 hours of my life!!

Got in an elevator looked behind me then turned to my brother and said "I think that's Gilligan behind us". It was.

But I grew up in the hotel industry and we'd run into famous people all the time. Rappers, Wrestlers and Sporting guys I'd run into all the time.

Once saw the Iron Sheik at an airport in Atlanta.

Met and got a picture and autograph with Edward James Olmos and Katee Sackhoff at Shore Leave last year, that was a fun time, plus Katee told some great stories about some of her castmates from BSG.

I've met a number of football players:
Jeff Hostetler
Ken Harvey
Tiki Barber
John Fox
Jim Fassel
Sean Payton
Amani Toomer
Ike Hilliard
Howard Cross
Mark Gastineau
Dan Campbell
Shawn Williams
Ottis Anderson
Joe Morris
Ron Dayne
And Mrs Jason Sehorn (Angie Harmon). Had breakfast with her before a game and let me tell you, she is twice as beautiful in person and one of the nicest people I've ever met.

Most of these folks were met at Training camp, but a few on draft day at the stadium. Hoss and Ken Harvey I met down in Maryland at Redskins training camp.

I will credit Warden in regard to meeting Mark Gastineau, as he was just an interesting player, as well as an interesting person.

Pretty cool story here. My father used to own a pretty large truck stop a while back.My first job when I was 15 was working there, and I got to meet a bunch of well known people-mostly musicians on tour. I'll run down the list.

Insane Clown Posse

The band Down stopped in for dinner once, I got to meet Pepper Keenan and Rex Brown both were extremely nice guys

WWE Wrestlers- Mark Henry, Big Show, Both Hardy's, and there were others with them that I didn't know because I had stopped watching wrestling by that time

Hootie and the Blowfish- They were stuck there because their bus broke down. Since my father owned the place he took extra special care of them while their bus was being fixed in the shop- I got to jam some led zepplin tunes with Darius Rucker. He was an extremely gracious and nice guy, definitely something that I will never forget!

I won a contest once and got to meet/jam with Mark Tremonti back stage at an alter bridge show in NJ a few years ago. He was a nice guy too!

As far as athletes go,

I did a few hockey camps with former Philadelphia Flyers players- Chris Therien, Micheal Renberg,

I also did a hockey camp with Mike Eruzione from the 1980 miracle on ice team

Well, you might be disappointed in the story then. He was in the mall doing autographs and I worked for UPS at the time. NO ONE was on-line to meet the guy. I walked over and just said hi. Never even bothered to ask for an autograph.

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks used to live on my street until she left to make her album. Said hi to her a couple of times but that was about it.

I ushered a Frank Zappa concert while I was in college in Minnesota, but didn't meet him then. I saw him at a bar later that night. My roommate almost pushed me into him. I said hi shook his hand. He was short!

I laugh about when I went to an event that had the Superbowl Ravens available for autographs for a price. I never have the chance to go to training camp or any other event. I decided I had to get Ray Lewis's autograph. I took the team photo I had from the last game at Memorial Stadium to be signed. Everyone ahead of me pretty much handed over what they wanted signed and walked away. I got to the table and asked his handler if I could shake hands with Ray, but it came out as gibberish! He said, huh? I swallowed and asked again. So I got to shake Ray's hand. I smiled nonstop for a week.

Met Dom Deluise. He was huge, walking with a cane and was really grumpy.

Some trivia: Did you know Michael Keaton's real name is Michael Douglass too?

Not exactly sure why he changed it but it's probably due to the Screen Actors Guild (SAG). Once a name is already taken, it cannot be used again.
