Burned half my day with Forest Gump and The Dark Knight. Saw Forest Gump numerous times before but first time seeing the Dark Knight. Pretty good movie. I'll try to finish 300 now. I never really got to the end of that movie.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I appreciate it.

current (as in somewhat recent) Kick A** was WAY better than i expected.
If you can endure the first twenty or thirty minuets it becomes a great movie.

I saw that one. I didn't expect that much blood and violence, but I loved it.

If you really want something suspenseful, I'd watch Zodiac. My friend made me watch it a couple of days ago, and damn was it brilliant.

Its a little on the long side, but I never lost interest. What makes it even more interesting is that its all based on a true story.

Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie
Fantastic movie but the plot dragged on after awhile. The same studio went on to take those same plot points and adapted them for television for Street Fighter II V (the V doesn't stand for anything, oddly enough). Amazing TV series and better than the movie, even though you could tell they ran out of money towards the end of production and recycled many scenes.

It's basically a loose interpretation of the same Street Fighter universe, following a younger Ryu & Ken as they travel the world looking for the best fighters in perfecting their skills. They eventually get involved with M. Bison (Vega, for the Japanese purists) and the series starts to mirror the film that inspired it, even recreating the final two-on-one boss fight with Ryu & Ken vs. M. Bison/Vega.

This is a rare example of an English dub not detracting from the experience. Both the English and Japanese voice-acting is fantastic and suits each character.

Agreed about the plot. The fight scenes make up for it somewhat. I've never watched the series.

If you have Netflix, the entire series is available for instant streaming. I'm sure you can also find it on YouTube and a Google search should bring up some results. Highly recommended. The art style holds up decently for an anime series from 1995 but the fight scenes aren't always as expertly animated as the film due to the difference in budget. Still well worth a watch.

The Good, The Bad, The Weird. It is all subtitled but if that doesn't deter you it is a very fun movie. (It is on netflix if you have it)

Better question:

What is your favorite movie that you pretend to hate?
Mine is probably Fast and Furious. Actually I think it's the only movie I pretend to hate lol.

I can't think of any right now that I pretend to hate, but I do have a movie that I pretended to like but eventually admitted that it was garbage: The Notebook.

My exes loved the crap out of that movie and I was convinced, for a little while, that I liked it. But then, I started falling asleep to it whenever it'd be on TV. Then, I'd start to get angry whenever I'd be forced to watch it because I began to point out problems I had with the plot and the logic. The more I analyzed the movie, the more I hated it. Then I came to hate almost all Nicholas Sparks-inspired movies.

Except for Mandy Moore's A Walk to Remember. I still have a crush on her, and she was the reason I watched it at first. I genuinely liked it for what it was, so I've accepted that. I do watch chick flicks...
