Exactly. If our D stops them or Roddy White gets called for pushing Josh Wilson to the ground, Joe looks like a hero. It's a team sport, at the end of the day.

It's funny how moods would have been different if just a few plays weren't made this year.

Imagine the board if Ray didn't strip the ball in the Buffalo game and we lose. Or if our defense held in Atlanta and we won. Joe doesn't make that last minute throw to Housh in Pittsburgh.

So many close games for us this year and its funny to think how our outlook would've been completely different if one play or so didn't occur.

Funny, indeed. It's true what they say, though, winning cures everything. If not for that Flacco-Housh TD in Pittsburgh or Ray Lewis' drive-ending INT, we would look at it as one of the worst games of the season. Now, it's probably my favorite.

I am tired of this bull crap defending of Flacco. If anyone had watched a falcons game, its obvious Ryan is a leader of men on that team. I wont even give examples how many teams we couldn't put away cause of him, i think you all know that. Lets be honest would you rather take Ryan or Flacco when we travel to Indy in 2 weeks?

And if i hear about flaccos stats one more time saying "flacco has 94 passer rating so does Manning" i will shoot myself on the foot. Its obvious flaccos stats are inflated, coaches have to feed him with a sliver spoon before every play, there is a reason there is no urgency its because of our great D. Its kind of funny even our no-huddle offense requires us to huddle, thats how slow the offense is and i cant blame the other guys because it all starts at the QB position.

Take all of the stats away and watch the games. Joe Flacco is no Matt Ryan! You can come up with all of the different stats and percentages you want, "stats are for loser" Ray Lewis. For each win both of these QB's have, how many are credited to the defensive or offensive players other than the QB? A QB can not win by himself. Flacco is a good QB and I'm not looking for him to be Matt Ryan, I just want him to help the Raven's win games. I do not care how he get's it done, just do it!

Don't sweat this small stuff. We know we got a steal in Joe Flacco. Everytime I'm in a discussion with someone about Flacco and Ryan, I swear by Joe Flacco because he's a beast! At the end of the day, the conversation will go like this.

"Hey, Joe, like my Pro Bowl appereance?" - Matt Ryan

"Yeah, pretty cool Matt. Hey, check out this Superbowl ring I got this year. Pretty Sweet." - Joe Flacco

I have watched Ryan, in fact I watched him the other night against the Saints. Matt Ryan didnt play that well and his team lost. Not lihe he did horrible but still. Ryan got so hyped up because his winning streak at home and some of his comebacks this year.

No one mentions Joe's comebacks this year, Came back against the Jets, Browns,
Steelers, came back against ATL but slipped away,....Joe has done more in the post season as well and he doesn't get the ooverage Matty Ryan does.

I watch NFL Network, ESPN, and all that too and if and when they mention the Ravens it's pretty brief.

That's a strange coincidence, because most of us are tired of having to defend Flacco from nonsense.
And how are Flacco's stats inflated? What does that even mean? How is he fed with a silver spoon?

I hope Joe DOES win the Super Bowl, then show up at Matt Ryan's house and have it filmed. I honestly think that would be totally and completely hilarious.

I think Cameron's spoon is tarnished, if that's the case.

Joe's stats are inflated? lol, this guy is too funny...if anything Joe has been held back because of play calling, trying to run the ball with little or no success and whatever reason you want to include.

Joe has improved every year....Matt Ryan had a sophomore slump and has never won anything in the playoffs..I dont remember Joe every slumping...oh and he has a winning record in the playoffs. He just wins and by any means necessary.

Playbook on NFL network just said they think Flacco is an elite qb, just not talked about because of all the all star players on defense like Lewis and Reed. They said he used to rely on PA pass, now he can make all the throws and carry a team. So he gets some love.

Flacco did the same thing to them except the Ravens D didn't hold so he was not the "hero"
[/quote]
