No, no it's not, Matty 'Ice' plays in an inferior conference where QBs is considered. Joe Flacco goes up against much more competition...the both had almost identical records and their stats are the same, Joe has had more success in the playoffs though.

Flacco has more upside, Ryan seems to be playing at his peak.

I didn't say I agreed with it, but other than Raven fans, you'll have a hard time to convince them that Flacco is even on the same league as Ryan, which is laughable.

Based on what? Flacco's got more passing yards, less interceptions, a higher YPP average, higher completion %, a better QB rating overall, more wins, more playoff appearances, more playoff wins...and now Ryan is the better QB because he made it to the Pro Bowl in the NFC even though he shouldn't have been in there in the first place since Rodgers is twice the QB? Come on now. I'm not arguing with you, just generally stating.

You really need to pay attention to what I'm saying....

I didn't say I agreed with it, but from experience with fans of other teams, you'll have a hard time finding someone who think Flacco's even as good as Ryan. I don't agree with this, but because of ESPN and the media's love affair, it has created the false perception that Ryan is in a league of his own. Which I don't agree with.

The trend in the NFL is that you usually go to your first Pro Bowl the year after you really earned it. In Koch's case, he should be a shoe-in for next year...

No, you should pay a little more attention. I said I don't argue with YOU. But since you're the one that brings these points up I'm generally stating that it doesn't make sense for anybody to think that Ryan is better just based on the fact that he made the Pro Bowl. That's all.

And I agree with that. I think its hilarious how people put Flacco's accomplishments under the rug.

Ray Rice has struggled all year despite going over 1,000 yards. He's only recently found his stride. Also, keep in mind, I believe voting was closed the day after the Ravens-Saints game was played, so that would've had minimal effect on the overall fan vote. On top of that, take into account that the fan vote only represents 1/3 of the total votes, as the other 2/3 is determined by players and coaches equally.

Peyton Manning got in based on reputation and his league-leading passing yards. However, Manning also has a horrid TD-to-INT ratio and threw the ball more than any other starting QB in the league this season.

Oh, that's true. A lot of people didn't have time to get on and vote. Manning hasn't been doing good, that's true. So, let's hope we play him in playoffs and Ed Reed will be in! :D
