Steelers Vs Browns

I don't think the Browns have much of a shot. Hillis has worn down and Cribbs aside, there aren't any other playmakers that can hurt the Steelers.

In all honesty. I think we'll struggle more with the Bengals than the Steelers do with the Browns.

If we could only have one game back, I'd take that first game back. Really screwed us up.

If Flacco didn't have those five picks I'm sure we would have won and I'll bet he would have gone to the pro bowl

It was four picks, not five. I'm sure that the superstar names of Brady, Manning and Rivers will have gotten them in ahead of him, but your point is pretty valid.

If we had just one more TD, we'd have the second seed...

Eh, I'm staying optimistic about both games next week.

Cleveland beat Pittsburgh last year and spoiled their playoff hopes. Arguably, this year's Browns team is much better then last year's. I'll only give up hope if the Browns start Jake Freaking Delhomme. Then you know the Browns don't really want to win the game.

It's up to the Browns defense. If they can stop the run and create turnovers, they have a shot because a high powered passing attack probably won't work in that environment.

If they do win, it'll be low scoring.

Looking at that game in retrospect, it kinda seems like we were doomed from the get go. Like we were walking into a buzzsaw.

I agree totally.
I say steelers by a long shot.

Are you referring to pitt or cincy ?
If I had to pick one, personally, I would want the last pitt game back. Put some one on Troy Poof-a-lotta-head, and let Joe complete that last pass and then close the game.

They have a decent shot if they don't turn the ball over 4 times like they did against us. I never underestimate the value of a rivalry game.
yea the Browns beat themselves in that game more than us beating them I think

Well I mean turnovers are give AND take. It's a two part deal. They committed four, but we also forced four.

Agree 100% on Delhomme. Browns might have had 2 more wins this season without him. I think the Browns have a legitimate chance at this game. Even more so if Troy is still out. Don't know what it is exactly but the entire defensive unit seems to downgrade remarkably when he is out. The Steelers offense is not really playing all that well either. A trick play here or there, some sacks (which they seem to do well against Pitt) and I can see this game going down to the wire.

How likely of a shot do you think the Browns have against the Steelers? (saying this counting a win against Cinci)

clevetown beat the steelers last yr..however, the steelers defense struggled terribly last season...they were a minus 3 in turnover ratio and this yr they are a plus 14...there will be no repeat of last yrs clevetown / pittsburgh upset....steelers 21 brownies 10
incidently, the bengals have a 3 game winning streak on the ravens and marvin lewis is 10-5 vrs the ravens...

One thing the Browns have going for them is that Colt McCoy has already seen the Steelers D this season.
in the first meeting between the steelers and clevetown, dick lebeau didn't show mccoy much of the steelers scheme simply because the steelers got up on them early and the basic defense was working well enough....count on lebeau pulling out the works if this game stays close....steelers 21 brownies 10

Does anyone know what the update is on Troy and if he'll be playing tomorrow?

With Troy: Steelers 28 Browns 10

Without Troy: Steelers 23 Browns 17

Excuses much? It does not matter, Pittsburgh HAD Ben when Cleveland downed them last year. This year's Browns is an improvement over last year's.

Gah the Browns have to get something on the ground, I don`t think the Steelers have allowed 1000 on the ground this year.
