I'm about 20 minutes east of Baltimore and we got 0 inches. It was a real tight weather line. Curious to see if B-More got any accumulation.

Less than one inch in Millersville Maryland.

My wife is from the Boston area, she laughs at all the news reports any time it snows here.

Here in Baltimore City we got less than an inch, a dusting basically.
It came down good, and for a second I was thinking we'd get a few inches, but I think it's a dry snow. Kind of a let down, no big deal though.
I'm glad we didn't get like 6 or more inches.
After last year's winter, less than an inch is perfect.

The snow hit my area on an early Saturday morning, and all we received was basically an inch. Still, that may be enough to disrupt local life here for a bit.

We got about 8 inches over here. And we are just not prepared to deal with it so people didn't leave their houses for about a week.

Well I dare say we got lucky with this storm. And me and the bum shoulder are very happy that there will be no shoveling involved in my day today.

It's still snowing in Boston.

We got about 3-4 inches, though it's weird, it's like there's a line between my part of Newark and downtown Newark because they got less than an inch downtown. I'm thinking the wind might've had a lot to do with it, because a lot of snow is getting blown away and carrying over to other parts, which might affect accumulation measurements.

In Ellicott City, we got maybe an inch. Didn't even have to clean up the porch or driveway since the wind blew it all away today.

28"-35" with 4'-5' drifts. My county and the one south of it are disaster areas.

That sucks... how long did it take you to dig yourself out?

I've been sick so I couldn't start until yesterday. Took me 3 hours ( I have a small driveway), then my neighbors showed up to help.

There are still neighborhoods who haven't seen a plow yet. Some heads are gonna roll in a few days. We plowed our own street as well.

Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling well; something's been going around down here, and I caught it, but thankfully it only lasted a day or so... our neighborhood used to never get plowed, but I think some heads rolled as you mentioned may happen up there, and now we're always plowed within a reasonable amount of time.

Thanks FF. There definitely was something going around. Been dealing with it since last Wednesday.

I heard there were a lot of stuck plows Sunday night and Monday. Also, I lot of people ignored the warnings to stay indoors and now their cars are blocking the plows from clearing the roads. I also heard that the Mayor of one town pissed of the DPW folks via heavy lay offs and when it came time to plow and good percentage of them called out sick. Apparently the guy is pretty hated.
