Yes, EA Sports is planning on releasing Madden NFL 09 on most major platforms. That includes PS2, PS3, XBOX 360, Wii, PSP, and Nintendo DS.

Strangely enough, there ISN'T a PC version planned right now, but plans could easily change since doing a PC version would only take another couple of months if they just do a straight port of the PS2 version.

Still though, I can't see myself going back to playing Madden on PS2 after playing it on PS3 (no offense).

Even though the PS3 version of Madden 08 takes some getting used to (in relation to the PS2 version), it's still the most fun I've had with a football game playing against the computer in a while. I can't play online 'cause some people use cheap tactics and I never have the free time to play a game all the way through (kids running around, phone ringing, etc.)
