Not the past 3 weeks, and even so, Gronkowski and Hernandez are tearing it up in New England. More of the blame should probably fall on Cam, but we're just wasting their talent, and it's a shame.

If you wanna cheer on the Pats be our guest.

It's really not even worth comparing the Ravens and the Pats.

The only thing that concerns me about Kindle is the fact that he has a history of this type of thing, and changing isn't easy, especially at such a young age.
It'll be interesting to see how this plays out, we'll have to wait and see.
I'm sure Harbaugh will be asked about it in his presser tomorrow.

what am I missing here,I thought Kindle was not allowed to drive stemming from his texting while driving incident, still for a guy who was so worried about being able to play next year because of concerns for his health,he's lucky he has so many people looking out for him, because he's doing such a lousy job of it himself!!And here's the thing, his friend how can he put Kindle in such a position,I know the hollidays we all want to be with family and friends, but don't get stupid,he had just one friend who could not drive,COME ON!!

He doesn't have a roster spot. He's on the reserve/non-Football injury list.
He wasn't even talking about roster spots, man!

You're right; the "rooster spot" is pretty valuable.

I just received a text message from WNST literally 60 seconds ago indicating Sergio Kindle was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DUI). This is being reported by WNST and the Sun.

*facepalm*

And once again I will ask, does this surprise you with this player? I said to myself ok I can let his college troubles go, they happened in college and he is a pro and signed with our Ravens. Then he "falls down stairs" and once agan I was like ok, he was in a friends house and "it was dark"! Now the CLOWN gets pulled over yet again for something related to alcohol, forget that and all you people that want the wool pulled over your eyes can just go some where. This kid has a problem and we don't need or want that in our city and our franchise!! THE END!!!

That's just silly. How about Gaither, he was a supplemental 5th round pick. Jarret Johnson was a fourth rounder. Ray Rice in the second round. Webb in the third. Hello? He has hits all over the place, fans will always find something to complain about though. As far as his second round picks not panning out, that's just a perfect example of drawing incorrect conclusions from a small sample size. They definitely took a gamble on Kindle, and that's what you have to do sometimes. We traded for Boldin, people forget to include that as part of our draft.
Did I say he never hits with those picks? He's just had some trouble with the second round. Not everyone hits everytime I understand but he's had some pretty bad flops with those 2-3 rounds on a pretty regular basis. You can't say ozzie's bread and butter isn't the first round.
You know what you are right; LeRon McClain, Ray Rice, Marshall Yanda, Ed Dickson, Dennis Pitta, David Reed, Jared Gaither, Kelly Gregg, Jarret Johnson, Dawan Landry, Tom Zbikowski, Haruki Nakamura, Lardarius Webb, and Tavares Gooden have all been REALLY REALLY bad picks. SMH
What I really noted was the specially 2nd round picks, He's had some pretty bad ones is what I ment to say. If you don't think we would of had some pretty bad losing seasons when you take 3-4 hall of fame players from the first round out of the mix then you're retarded. I said thats where he makes his money and thats true. Some of those guys the book is clearly still out on and kelly greeg was a udfa btw. Think about it, If he wasn't so good in the first round and we don't get a ed reed/ray lewis/ogden/bowlware/suggs/flacco/ngata and the list goes on obviously he wouldn't be here. I just think he should of kept the first round pick.. I've said that from draft day. You could of still got cody and one of the TE's.

In the history of the baltimore ravens the only players to ever become full time starters in the 3rd round is yanda and casey rabach and the 2nd round is Kim herring, Jamie sharper, ray rice, chris chester, gary baxter and dwan edwards. Thats how many years of drafting and sometimes having more then 1 pick there.

Sergio Kindle? man..... that guy needs to get his stuff straight! he was injured in the beginning of the season, what smart decision are you making for your rookie career? DUI? not smart. i remember when he said he was going to be defensive rookie of the year... obviously not. I love ravens been a fan 13 years, players have got to be smart, wiser, decisive.

So it begans, I hope Ray Lewis reaches out too him. This situation could get out of control real quick. There's something about players that come from Mack browns Texas longhorns. They seem to have a hard time dealing with adversity. They are so use to being handled with kid gloves.
i live in austin, love the Texas Longhorns organization...and i couldnt agree with you more. just look at vince young...rippin off his jersey after the game as if he were still wet in college sucking the teat of momma!!! over the years, i have often wondered why these kids cant figure it out...nothing is as sacred to them as playing on sundays...so why do they put their sundays in jeopardy???

Really guys? All of you who are hating on Serg must also hate Stallworth, right? Give me a break. I'm pretty sure none of you actually know this kid personally, and certainly not enough to say whether or not he is Ravens material. So he was arrested for something illegal (DWI). You know, there's another guy on our team who wears the number 52 who faced much worse charges, once upon a time. Did you hate him too? Do you hate him now? I'm saying step back and take off the blinders and try to have a little more perspective before you pass judgement on the new kid.

There is a pattern of unintelligible decision making with this guy. Ray Lewis got into serious trouble once, as with Stallworth from my memory, and they have turned themselves around. Patterns make the difference and usually indicate no change in behavior or thought about the risks being taken.

People are right to be mad. At the very least, Kindle is on some seriously thin ice and needs to start maturing very quickly if he wants a chance at being a Raven.

Talk about a person with baggage ... not very happy right now. This kid is probably the best prospect at OLB in the last 10 years, and is as irresponsible and immature as they come.

The front office trading the first round pick away was a smart move, even if it hasn't worked out the way the team had hoped. I don't see how the "meat and potatoes" weren't addressed but does Josh Wilson not count as CB "backup"?

It took me 5 minutes to read your response, as I spent practically all of them watching Josh Wilson demolish Joe Thomas. That's insane.

Not a very smart move by him, doesn't improve his stock among the coaches.

I've been a supporter BUT, enough is enough. What a Dumb A! It's not that he got a DUI but the FACT that he has proven himself to be very immature and seems to have an alcohol problem. If he's proven guilty, I think we'll cut him.

I think that unless he show some serious improvement in the next couple of months, then he will never step on the field as a Raven.
He will probably get picked up by a team as the Redskins, and start tearing it up with Orakpo.

Can we cut him yet? I mean seriously, this guy has red flags all over him. Enough is enough.

Also, according to a Baltimore Sun blog, he got a DUI in 2007, and also drove into a building while "texting and driving." http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/blog/2010/12/kindles_dui_isnt_his_first_arrest.html

Man Serigo you gotta be smarter with your choices. I know no one is perfecting, but not every has the opportunities you have to be a part of something special.

He probably wont be with the Ravens next year. This is the exact reason why everyone passed on the "top outside linebacker" prospect in the draft in the first round. We took a chance and got burned here, but atleast we still got Cody a real value in the second round.

Now it has to be said...

Was he drunk too when he fell down the stairs?
I have to wonder that myself now. This is so disappointing.

A DUI doesn't make you a bad person.

I thought they passed on him because of his knees and the rumor that he might have needed microfracture surgery

haha, I fixed the speed for you ;) But yes, Josh Wilson for most dominant play of the year, IMO.

No...just stupid. Looking at the history of football players and DUI's, I would have thought a TAXI/DRIVER would be a realistic and smart choice. Maybe there should be an NFL mandatory class about drinking/drugs/sex/partying, as they seem to be a recurring problem. Who am I kidding? The NFL "protecting" its players without a complimentary and hypocritical decision? Hell just froze over.

Or was that sarcasm hawk? I seem to get that vibe from you a lot  I can't tell anymore!

Those issues surfaced on draft day but character concerns probably caused a number of teams to back off.
