Not the past 3 weeks, and even so, Gronkowski and Hernandez are tearing it up in New England. More of the blame should probably fall on Cam, but we're just wasting their talent, and it's a shame.
Why would you replace Heaps importance in the gameplan with 2 total rookies when you have Boldin and TJ on the outside. Hernandez isnt even an everydown TE, Gronkowski and Hernandez have to split responsibilites, Hernandez also has the benefit of playing in an offense that is a spread like Florida's. Hernandez wouldnt be playing except on 3rd downs in Baltimore, then you'd be complaining.

Really? So because Dickson and Pitta, Cody and Jones aren't having huge seasons, they aren't helping the team win? And I guess Reed wasn't helping the team either by playing well as gunner and return man before getting hurt either?
Cody and Jones haven't done a thing...maybe 3-5 tackles combined all season? Sure, Reed's done well on ST, but now his character is in question... Dickson and Pitta are doing what they can, but aren't making that much of an impact save for blocking, and even that's been suspect... I guess I'm nuts, but I expect more from the guys Ozzie drafts. Sorry.

Don't throw him under the bus just yet people. So long as he gets the message this time around and Ray takes him under his wing for a while, he still has a future with us.
He has never taken a NFL snap and everyone was so high on him , You get a chance to play in the NFL and you blow it. Ozze cut your loses and get him out of here!!!

Don't even get me started on Boldin and TJ and Cam's love affair with two-man routes. Such a waste of talent.

I wouldn't call it "senseless," but Ozzie has missed in the second round almost every year except for Ray Rice, who was gift-wrapped. Again, I hope these guys turn out to be studs/Pro Bowlers, but I'm concerned with this season, and these guys aren't getting the job done.
Wow. Never mind, this isn't even worth it. All I'll say is that you should be thankful that we have a competent GM.

You do realize your looking at the TEs on our team and the TEs in NE (especially Hernandez) without taking into account how the offense is run in Baltimore and what we ask of TEs?

You're not nuts, but you sorta don't know what you're talking about (no offense). I think most fans have their doubts, but you sounds way too convinced of yours. You really don't know squat, none of us do.

That has yet to be determined at the pro level.
You don't have to have played in the pros for anyone to know you have talent. He played in a conference of NFL level talent, and was an excellent pass-rusher.

Now whether he can still be the same player after the injury remains to be seen, but its not like we're breaking the bank to keep him around.

The last thing we want to see is, him having success on another team couple years from now.

I agree, you keep him around and sign him to a cheap contract, considering his value has plummeted.

I agree you keep him as well, he'll be had for cheap, but you also draft another edge rusher around the 3rd or 4th. We need to shore up the interior Dline(though Redding has been playing extremely well the last 4 weeks) and we need to shore up the LT/RT position, as well as MLB beside Ray. Which sucks with the mad receiver talent in this draft we could find a young vertical threat finally.

I dont feel bad for the kid, but I guess if your possible career is over, you drink your life away? Doesn't make sense, but plenty of non-atheles live like this everyday. Hopelessness breeds dumb decisions in order to cope with the moment, not the future. Hopefully Kindle gets his stuff together, if not, I want him gone. Drinking and driving is never acceptable behavior.

Obviously, the second round hasn't been kind to the front office.

I don't see how Rice was "gift-wrapped" though. Every team passed on him at least once and I remember at least 5 of them drafted RBs. No one could have guessed how good Rice would be.

Regardless, most of the rookies this season weren't going to get the job done anyway, considering the team is ready to win now and again, has so many proven veteran players.

I believe the Ravens should keep him and if he gets cleared to play for next year, then they could slowly work him in and hope he can make an impact. A lot depends on his mental health and right now Sergio looks to be in a bad spot.

John Harbaugh is a big character guy and Kindle isn't doing himself any favors with the decisions hes made to get on his good side. This incident only further hinders his chances of playing for the team next year in addition to his questionable state of health.

You're wrong. Cody was the main reason the team shut down Turner when almost everyone thought he'd run all over the Ravens. He's no Wilfork but he still has a load of potential. Jones has Ngata and Redding ahead of him so I'm not sure what you expected.

Dickson nor Pitta were known as bockers coming out but again, they hqve plenty of room to grow.

So exactly did you expect 15 games in?

Denver might come out on top with that trade.

There's such a thing as a mutual benefit. We needed more picks.

It's still too early to count Kindle out. If he gets medical clearance to play, we have to at least give him a shot next season. He clearly has a good amount of talent and he wants to prove himself.

I know this mistake doesnt help his cause, but a DUI is hardly means to toss him away.

As far as the draft is concerned, I still think it was solid overall. No one can foresee a freak accident that sidelines your first pick, and Kindle would have filled a serious void opposite of Suggs. Cody and Jones have a lot of potential and I love the young TEs we have. Who knows, if Harewood gets healthy he could be our future RT. It's way to early to make over-reaching judgements after less than 1 season.

Well that was a waste of a second-round draft pick. It really is shame when you look at who was taken around Kindle. Just to think, we could have ended up with Taylor Mays or Jermaine Cunningham. Pretty frustrating.

The only reason OZZIE is still a GM is because of his first round draft picks. That guy just doesn't hit them he hits all pros ALMOST every time. If you look back he's been REALLY REALLY bad with picks out of the first round, specially 2nd round picks. When they traded back I was in shock and extremely disapointed. I know we have a long way to go with the picks but it just really doesn't look good.

<_< has nothing to do with the success he's had in free agency, signing UDFAs, beneficial trades, and multiple late round gems? Sure, the majority of his second round draftees haven't panned out, but that's one of his few flaws.

There's no way we should just let Kindle walk away IMO. We can easily sign him to a ridiculously cheap contract. It's not often you get someone with his level of talent for almost nothing (except the second round pick but releasing him won't bring that back). Sure he's a bonehead but he's still really young, plenty of trouble makers in this league turned themselves around and became impact players and decent members of the community. We all know Ray made some bad decisions (though we also knew exactly how good he was) and no one here regrets keeping him around.

So my vote is to sign him for cheap and keep him around, have him continue his rehab and keep learning the playbook. Get him some serious supervision, have some of the older players sit down with him and try to help him out. If none of this works then I have no problem with releasing him. But I think that with his level of talent it would be a waste to cut him before he ever sees the field. If it doesn't work out then we release him.

You know what you are right; LeRon McClain, Ray Rice, Marshall Yanda, Ed Dickson, Dennis Pitta, David Reed, Jared Gaither, Kelly Gregg, Jarret Johnson, Dawan Landry, Tom Zbikowski, Haruki Nakamura, Lardarius Webb, and Tavares Gooden have all been REALLY REALLY bad picks. SMH

That's just silly. How about Gaither, he was a supplemental 5th round pick. Jarret Johnson was a fourth rounder. Ray Rice in the second round. Webb in the third. Hello? He has hits all over the place, fans will always find something to complain about though. As far as his second round picks not panning out, that's just a perfect example of drawing incorrect conclusions from a small sample size. They definitely took a gamble on Kindle, and that's what you have to do sometimes. We traded for Boldin, people forget to include that as part of our draft.

Neither of those players have made a huge impact and Kindle was a better prospect than both of them coming out.

We don't need these distractions during playoffs. We should release his <butt> after next week. We could be using his rooster spot for someone more deserving.

He doesn't have a roster spot. He's on the reserve/non-Football injury list.
