wow! soooo, the Ravens are out in Cleveland playing lights out defensively to secure a playoff spot and this cat is out there getting drunk and then driving? really Kindle? you may be gone after this one buddy!
Well, think about what you wrote..the team is out there in Cleveland clinching a playoff spot, and here's a guy who really wanted to be in on that but had a bad accident and is stuck pretty much doing nothing. He's probably been drinking out of feeling sorry for himself or boredom. It was a stupid thing to do, but raise your hand if you've never driven drunk before. I can't. Oh, but yea it was still really stupid.

I really like to see the best in people, despite the mistakes they make in their life. But Sergio is making it really hard for me to believe in him. If he is cleared to play around April, then I think the Ravens should give him a chance to see what potential he has to offer as camp rolls around.

On the other hand, Harbaugh is a very high character guy and expects the best from his players. This may have been the last straw for Sergio.

Unfortunately, that probably puts him in a position where he won't be with the team next year. If he took his NFL career seriously he would be rehabbing, not driving drunk and impairing your head worse than it already is. Poor decision making on his part, and it's going to cost him.

I would feel bad for Sergio if he didn't bring all of it on himself.

Even if he wasn't drunk then he was obviously driving erratically which is dangerous.

This isn't intended as a personal attack but he seems to be a genuinely stupid person, if you get what I mean. It almost seems like he sees both the right and wrong decisions but makes the wrong one anyway.

I didn't like the pick because of his "injury" at the time (knee cartilladge) and like it even less now. I don't put much stock at all in a players character but this guy would make a 5 year old go: "C'mon man!"

What a disaster, I remember reading his off the field incidents when we drafted him and thinking "this guy sounds like he's out of control." He has only reinforced my perception by fracturing his skull and now this. Ozzie took a chance, and I think it's fair to say he made a mistake. At least we aren't wasting too much money on him.

Let's just say goodnight to the bad guy. We have many more pressing things to do then worry about a player that would rather drive drunk, than do everything possible to get back on the field. Im sorry im hard on those that have all the physical gifts to make money and do nothing once they get a lil piece. Bye kindle enjoy life on the couch. Im wondering if you wanna come to my house and watch the Raven's games.

If only the Broncos never gave us that ridiculous offer.....
What would have happened? Would there have been less chance the team drafted a player that didn't pan out?

Let's see: One guy cracks his skull, is arrested for a DUI and may never play a down in the NFL... another has possible drug charges hanging over his head... our two TEs barely touch the ball (especially Pitta)... Art Jones is a work in progress/project player, as is Harewood who is on IR. So, yeah, I'd say this was a pretty awful draft. Oh yeah, and Cody is not doing anything either.

Maybe Mccourty and Cody. But than again who knows.

Hindsight is 20/20, and by no means am I blaming Ozzie, because he couldn't have predicted this mess.

And that, sir, shows how little you understand about drafts. Anyone who deems a draft extremely good or extremely bad after less than one year has no clue what they're talking about.

None of those realities change the fact it's been one season and judging a draft after 15 games, especially when the team already had so much veteran talent is senseless.

Kindle has had issues and we'll see in time if he ever does play for this team. We don't know if Reed will be charged with anything but he's proven to be a player. The TEs haven't touched the ball most of the season because Heap had a big season and you have 4 other players that are better receivers. Q has "barely touched the ball" consistently in a number of weeks, was he a bad acquisition?

Jones was drafted in the 5th round and although there are a number of better players ahead of him, he has potential though. And Harewood being on IR now doesn't mean he can't come back and be a good player for this season.

Well, when you compare it to the other "elite" teams such as the Pats, our draft simply doesn't cut it. Sure, 3 or 4 years down the line I could be eating my words, and I hope I am, but this year's motto is W.I.N. (What's Important Now), and our current draft class is not helping us do that. I just call it like I see it, bud.

The 2 TEs are playing behind Heap who has a significant amount of the weekly gameplan tailored around him. How many balls do you think the rookie TEs are going to get? Kindle was a miss obviously but other than that I dont see how you can call it a total terrible draft. NFL Dline is arguably the hardest position on defense to get acclimated to...Warren Sapp had only 3 sacks his rookie year. Obviously the two late round guys are going to be projects...theyre 5th and 6th rounders...

I wouldn't call it "senseless," but Ozzie has missed in the second round almost every year except for Ray Rice, who was gift-wrapped. Again, I hope these guys turn out to be studs/Pro Bowlers, but I'm concerned with this season, and these guys aren't getting the job done.

Really? So because Dickson and Pitta, Cody and Jones aren't having huge seasons, they aren't helping the team win? And I guess Reed wasn't helping the team either by playing well as gunner and return man before getting hurt either?

Not the past 3 weeks, and even so, Gronkowski and Hernandez are tearing it up in New England. More of the blame should probably fall on Cam, but we're just wasting their talent, and it's a shame.

How was he gift wrapped, alot of teams were worried about his height and his already wear and tear from putting Rutgers on his back for 2 years straight. Ozzie and the scouting department did work on scouting Rice. It wasnt gift wrapped at all thats ridiculous.

You might need glasses, because you've got pessimist vision. I like Dickson, and Pitta was a value pick that could pay off in the future. David Reed has made an impact, and the allegations against him won't necessarily affect his ability to play. Harewood could end up being a great pick for all you know, and it's waaaaaay too early to say anything about Cody. I had concerns about Kindle when we picked him, but they took a shot. It's part of being a GM, you're going to make mistakes. But you can't call Kindle an awful pick yet, in 3 years Ozzie could look brilliant.
