The NFL realized that the Steelers really had no other team that can stay in the class.
The browns were never good enough so they created the Ravens as a team to go head to head with a team that had nobody to go against them. The NFL basically gave the steelers a Rival worthy of facing every year and we are it... Then enemy of the steel curtain...

Umm okay??? That makes no sense at all... The divisions were just realigned 9 or so years ago and there is no way at the time that the league was purposely planning this
