Of course winning out would lead to momentum but which road which road would you prefer not taking the into account.

Scenario A, I'd much rather play the Steelers in the second round, but the Patriots likely would be the opponent in the third.

Taking that into account we might as well play the Patriot in the second and avoid playing the Colts. I don't see the Colts beating the Jets or Steelers (neither team I would be afraid to play in the third.) Scenario B (Chiefs > Pats > Jets/Steelers).

Teams I'm most afraid of in the playoffs Chargers and Colts. Just a little fun speculation.

I'd love for Scenario B, but the fact that we can win out coupled with the Browns' upset potential against the Steelers next week makes me confident that there could be a Scenario C where we are the division winner and play a wild card team.

I'd like to whip up on the colts for s change, this would be the year to do it.

I don't care if we were 16-0 and the Colts backed into the playoffs NFC West style with a 8-8 record or something. I don't want to see that team in the playoffs. Thats a waste of a perfectly good season. We can beat anyone but them.

Either way we will have to play the Steelers and the Pats if we make it to the SB. The only difference being which team we play first and what team we play in the WC game.

I would rather play KC than Indy, but I think we can handle either team. However, I think its better to play Pats > Steelers than vice versa. I would imagine it would be harder for the team to play a super physical divisional game against the Steelers and then have to play the Pats in the Championship game.

I believe this team can beat any team in the league. I'm not scared of the Colts anymore, especially not this year.

That said I voted Chiefs/Pats.

I dont want to face Indy.

I swear Peyton sold his soul to the devil to read Ray Lewis s mind.

Maybe Ray should wear tin foil under his helmet.

This looks like the year we can beat the colts. The team I am concerned about is the chargers, but who knows they may not even make it.

This one is so easy. The chiefs' record is so good because the lack of strength of schedule. The chiefs struggle against good teams. On the other hand, the Colts know how to beat us. And even though I think we can beat them this year. I would rather not test the waters. Manning can still beat us. But I think it would be different considering the fact we have a passing game which would prevent the Colts from stacking the box.

On the other hand we almost beat the patriots this year at their stadium this year. And we beat them last year in the playoffs. Yes they are probably the best team in the NFL right now but I think we matchup better against them than the Steelers. There is something about Big ben that we can't beat. So I would be ok with avoiding them if we could.

I see the Colts easily beating the Jets and I see the Colts with a 50/50 chance of beating the Steelers. Both teams are heavy blitzing teams which goes in Peytons favor and the Jets O is terrible!

I would rather win out, the Colts are beatable and I think we can beat them this year. Our team has grown and gotten better in the areas we would need to beat them. They can no longer shut down our run game and take Mason away and beat us.

Lets win out, take down the Colts...IF they win their division, remember Jaguars are still in it...

The Patriots scare me a lot more than the Steelers do right now though so this is a tough one.

We match up well with patriots. They wouldn't run us out the building.

I don't like our chances of beating Big Ben. Some teams have what it takes to keep him in check, but he turns it on and up into another level of toughness against the Ravens.

That said, Colts and Chiefs is a tough one. But I'd go with the Chiefs just because I still am not sold on us beating Indy. I'd like to not play at Arrowhead Stadium given that KC hasn't lost there yet this season, but if we destroyed the Pats last year in Foxboro in the playoffs, I definitely think we can win at Arrowhead.

So I said Chiefs/Pats.

I have this weird feeling that this road is going to cross New York this year.
[/quote]

The only way we meet New York is if we both win our games and that would mean we would have a home game being the higher seed. We'd own the Jets at our place.

How about the Colts take care of the Steelers and Jets and the Ravens take care of the Chargers and Patriots and we will meet i the AFC Champ game.

Don't know if this is possible but I like it.

I've heard a lot of people talking about a potential upset with Oakland over Indy. If that does happen we would face the Jags most likely.

I also prefer scenario B, I like the rematch against the Pats.
