How come I'm not allowed to post a new topic in the Game thread section?

I wanted to do a game thread for the champion's league final (between Manchester United and Chelsea).

It'd have been just like a regular Game thread, except with a different sport, and funnier.

Well, when you read the description of the game threads forum it says:

Game Threads

In-Game talk about a Ravens game while it is being played.

Since technically it's not a Ravens game, it's off topic and should be placed in the off topic forum.

I believe only Admins and Mods can start "official" game threads. Soccer belongs in Off-Topic anyway.
