For all those who want a medical opinion on this matter...

Being the BR.com resident neurosurgeon (or rather I'm finishing medical school with focus in neurosurgery) I can side with the physicians here. Granted, I'm saying this without a lot of knowledge pertaining to the location of the fracture... but 99.99% of times severe head injuries have long lasting side-effects. Heck, the natural improvement of neurological functions can take YEARS to completely recover, if not longer. Taking hits on the football field a year out of tbi (traumatic brain injury) is ludicrous and completely, 100%, without question... not safe. If I was the physician working his case and knowing what we've been told about his injury... I would make him sit out a minimum of 2 years (preferably 3 years) before I ever waived him to touch a football field again. Even working out at the level he's used to could cause significant unneeded stress on his body and slow the healing process.

In my medical opinion I do not see Sergio ever taking the field for the Baltimore Ravens.

I sure hope you're wrong. I've had a few concussions (head+asphalt and head+brass knuckles), a fractured skull from the first. I haven't seen any ill effects and I was cleared pretty quick. Like I stated earlier, he must have had severe brain trauma.

You're a fool if you think it doesn't make him look and sound like an idiot by the way he talks/tweets/etc. "Grad." is a widely used abbreviation, what he speaks is ghetto slang and or rap star language. It's my opinion and I just so happen to think most would agree, he sounds like a clown talking in that way. As for not knowing the "terms" he speaks, you're wrong... I can decipher them BUT I don't feel like it's worth my time. It's not text lingo, it's STUPIDITY.

Ghetto slang or rap star language??? Stereotype much?? Sorry, you're not in touch w/ the youth. That's how they communicate now. Just b/c you don't like or agree w/ it doesn't make it wrong or him sounding like a clown. Get over yourself. The man is dealing w/ a brain injury and your concerned about how his text/tweets read.

I'm only 27.... I was in the generation whom started the texting craze. I stand behind the thought that people sound like a damn clown when conducting themselves in such a way. Clown Speak 101, a great way to prove you're a pro.....

While he might not be ready next year, I think you still have to keep him around. The last thing we want to see is, him getting ready in a couple years, and become an excellent pass-rusher for another team. Its not like we'll have to pay him much.

With that being said though, I think you have to draft an OLB in the draft who can rush the passer. Kinde is a project at this point.

I agree, with the potential and track record Kindle has you have to keep him around if theres a chance he can play eventually. He's only what 23? His potential outweighs another 200 grand contract, or whatever he got this year.

Text talk sounding like a clown. wow. Sometimes you folks can be so critical. How about we just stick to the topics. Hate shows even when you think no one is listening.

If someone already posted this I'm sorry. He tweeted later that everyone should calm down and he is going to make sure he is going to play next year. So heres to hoping we didn't completely waste a pick on him. Who know. I just hope that fall down the stairs is the reason for the way he tweets because he doesn't sound like a real thinker
