Tom Brady = Possibly Best NFL QB Ever?

He is a total tool. If you want Beiber on your team, thats your problem. I have no respect for a guy who cries for flags
Every receiver has cried for a flag. Hell, Terrell Suggs demanded an intentional grounding in the last game. No respect for Derrick Mason, Suggs, and/or Anquan Boldin? Brady may be more noticeable when he does it, as a QB, but it's not uncommon.

Difference between a blatant call not being called and minimal contact being turned into roughing the passer.

He's great, not the best QB to play the game though.

Like I said, I wouldn't want him to be a Raven.

You wouldn't want a top 3 QB (all time) on your team because of his hair??

Minimal contact becoming a defensive pass-interference call? Receivers do the same thing.

I'm not a Tom Brady fan but you can't chastise a player for an action while excusing others.

Brett Favre

Favre has been afforded better protection more often than not throughout his career.

No because he is a d-bag, a whiner and quite frankly I don't want other teams whining about how they lost due to calls going his way. He is the refs favorite little child.

Again, if you want him as your QB, that's your thing. Im glad we don't have him. If you like him so much, go watch him Joke vs the Ravens again this year in the playoffs.

Um, yeah I can....receivers have a legit argument sometimes, Brady never does. If someone hits his jersey, he will get a flag. Everyone knows receivers are divas. They almost all are.

Im not denying he is a great QB, I am just saying he isn't the best and I wouldn't want that tool on my team.

This isn't about me liking him or hating him.

I hate a lot of players, but would love to have them on my team. You could hate Brady as much as you want, but you can't justify not wanting an all-time great on your team. Especially considering how QB hungry this franchise was before Flacco.

Yet you bring of Favre. I don't know about you, but there is a lot more to hate about Favre rather than Brady.

Really? Has Favre ever boned the Ravens over on B.S. Calls he egged the refs for? Favre ever been on a Bellicheat team? Does Terrell Suggs hate Favre?

This is just getting stupid. Let me guess, you are one of the people who hate Brett Favre because ESPN always talks about him. The dude, has announced his retirement once officially. Everything else was ESPN speculating and dragging it out.

Goes to show that some people like tough football players and others like the flashy ones.....

Brett's teammates needed him and dragged him back. On a game that didn't matter, Brett suited up for his team and took a beating of his life on MNF just because he loves the game. I would love to see that coward Brady do that.

Brett Favre is a drama-queen. I've never heard a QB, other than Ben Roethlisberger, harp on so many 'injuries'. His on-again, off-again retirements, not showing up to TC, his off-field 'activities', and yes the media's obsession with him are enough to drive people away...

I'm a Favre-hater, you caught me, but I'm not a Brady-lover by any means. Tom Brady does whine for flags but so do a lot of players in the NFL, including ones on this team. I don't think that's a valid reason to not want him on your team, but whatever.

Ok so you are admitting to listening to everything the media says. Funny how you list injuries when Brady has been listed as probably for almost every game in the last 4 seasons. Don't know how you think he harps on injuries, guess you don't watch him get driven to the ground and what not. You try taking that beating at 41. 297 games straight, and you wanna talk about him making excuses about his injuries. Wow, lost respect for your argument.

Bottom line,

Tom Brady would not be successful in Baltimore unless we dumped money into our offensive line.

Why does it have to be like that? I think Brady is a **** too, and a whiner, and a DB at times. But recognizing greatness in a player that doesn't wear purple is a good quality to have.
If we had drafted Brady, we probably would have won 5 or 6 SB since he entered the league. **** or not, I'll take that and smile.

A fellow Favre hater!

Not only that, but he gives the most boring interviews on the face of the planet. Only Favre could cry on national TV and still bore the hell out of me.

Your hatred for Brady is hilarious.

Didn't know a players greatness depended on whether he bad mouthed your team or not.

Firs of all you are incorrect when you said Favre has only announced his retirement once officially. After the Jets stint, he told an interviewer point blank hes done. You already know his whole conference with GB when he announced he was done.

And lets not forget him riding his team for how long now? He was a pain in the you know what for GB. He would be uncertain almost every year in his last couple of years. Theres a reason Rogers hates the guys guts.

Favre is tougher than Brady based on what logic exactly? The streak? LOL

His "love for the game" was supposed to be Webb's first start. He was listed as out, and all of a sudden could play again. I don't even know how thats even legal. Its pretty obvious he does all this for attention.

Favre is a HOF, and one of the best QB's of all time, but hes not in the top 3 like Brady. Both of his last 2 championship games ended with an INT from him.

As for flashy, Brady has been the least for most of his career. He takes a backseat to Manning and Favre most of the time. This year sure, hes getting a lot of attention, but the dude has just been that good.

I hate Brady as much as the next guy but the man is playing inspired football.

He was incredible against Pittsburgh earlier in the year. Infact, I think that's about as well as I've ever seen any Quarterback play. It would be easy to say he was playing the best football of his life when he had the 50 TD season but, honestly, this season has, in my opinion, been his best. He may not have the gaudy stats but he has elevated the play of everyone on that offense to a rediculous level.

Hell, he's even making Deion Branch look good, and that guy slides when he sees contact coming!

I'm by no means a Brady lover, but you have to respect what the man has done on the football field this year and throughout his career.

Branch disappeared in Seattle(some say because of misuse) but I don't fully buy into the notion Brady is making him look good. As his catch and run TDs against the Lions and Jets prove, the guy is a player and he's a very willing blocker too.

I'm taking nothing away from Brady but just because the skill players he's surrounded by aren't big names or elite athletes doesn't mean they're not very capable football players.

If a QB overthrows, underthrows, backfoot-throws, or behind-throws, it takes skill to catch that kind of balls. However, Brady threw nearly perfect balls to his recievers due to his better vision on the field. Any reciever can catch that. Besides, if your vision on the field is poor, you definitely can't find your open man.

Moreover, all NFL players are generally good football players cuz they are professional.

I still think Brady makes his surrounding recievers look good.

Flacco is a tough kid. Brady is a little weakling. He would never last in our division. He wouldn't know what to do with the amount of time the OL would manage for him. It's no coincidence that his OL was depleted in the Playoffs last year and he had one of his worst outings ever.

First Favre's ankle was hurt, then his heel started hurting, then his calf was bothering him, then he got popped in the chin, then he tells everyone he has tendinitis in his elbow, then his shoulder went numb, and, most recently, he got a concussion. He's whined about all of those things this season, alone, and has been wishy-washy about his practice/game status.

It's not a coincidence that the bruised picture of his ankle surfaced in the midst of his will-he-won't-he offseason drama... Or that he discovered some new, "serious" injuries as the Sterger case developed...

Why are all of these things so public? My best guess: he's a drama queen that craves the spotlight and, when his play or off-field activity isn't getting him positive attention, he'll talk about his various maladies. He harps on them, making them bigger than they actually are, if they even exist...

I don't care if he's 41, he should have matured past the point of acting childish and blowing injuries out of proportion. Using his age as an excuse doesn't work - football is voluntary and Favre decides to keep coming back, he shouldn't complain.

He has never used injury as an excuse. It saddens me that you don't understand that there is this thing called an injury list that players have to be put on if they have ailments. Also, the media asks him if he is injured or how he is feeling. he has never milked an injury.

You are just hating on the guy for no reason. I at least have proof that Brady cries for flags. What is your proof that he whines about his injuries? Sources? Drama Queen? No you are just sucked into ESPN and how they twist things. The guy didn't wanna come back this year, his teammates dragged him back. So obviously they needed him even at 41. i doubt the same will be said about Brady.

No doubt Brady routinely throws accurate balls to his targets but as we've seen dozens of times this season, Branch, Woodhead, BGE, Welker and Hernandez are all more than capable with the ball in their hands.

Too often, the media refers to Brady's surrounding cast like they're scrubs. They're not.

Because he doesn't file paperwork, we should just ignore him when he says hes going to retire. :34853_doh:

Hes not going to come out and say he hates Favre, but any intelligent person who reads between the lines knows it pretty obvious.

I'm done with this argument. Your blind hate for Brady wont stop you from arguing.

Again Favre is HOF, but to put say hes better, or even on the same level as Brady is laughable.

See thats where I disagree. Joe Pa of Penn State has the passion for the game. Hes been around forever, and isn't anywhere near the headache Favre is for a team.

Favre loves the attention. Thats why he waffles every year, instead of giving us his decision.

I just checked Favre's career stats(link) and in the full seasons he's played, he's been sacked 30 or less times 11 times throughout his career. I obviously don't have the video to go back and break down which sacks were the result of good coverage or poor o-line play but as he's proven numerous times in his career, Brett likes to hold onto the ball to get the big play.

Regardless, most HOF QBs throughout history had/have great o-lineman.
