Last-Minute Pro Bowl Votes

5 posts in this topic

Ravens fans, TONIGHT is the deadline to get your Pro Bowl ballots in! Vote your favorite underrated Ravens in, and help some of our superstar players get over the edge in key positional areas! Remember, our vote counts for 1/3 of the total vote!

Although the Pro Bowl itself is a meaningless game, the accolade goes a long way in helping determine the legacy of some players. Furthermore, many players have contractual incentives and escalators that are triggered by a Pro Bowl nod. This financial bonus has a trickle-down effect that, in the cases of players who are involved with charities and community service, can go a long way in making heartier donations.

The ballot can be found at NFL.com/ProBowl -- remember you can vote more than once! Help our unheralded special teamers Billy Cundiff and Sam Koch make the all-star game! Help Joe Flacco overcome the crowded field in the AFC and force the nation at-large to recognize his Pro Bowl numbers this season! Even just ten votes from each of us could exponentially be enough to make a dent in the votes.

I voted ten times already but I'll vote 10 more! Still can't believe Koch and Cundiff aren't getting the votes. Ticks me off. Hope when the coaches and players votes come in that they get the recognition they deserve.

I've been voting sporadically throughout the day, at least five votes each time. I'm just killing time between now and WWE/MNF, so most of our Ravens should be well taken care of -- but I can't do it alone! ;)

Besides, the best part is, if our Ravens are playing in the Super Bowl, they'll likely be held out of the Pro Bowl since it's played before the Super Bowl once again but they'll still get the distinction on their resume, so they'll still be deserving players that can actually play in the game.

Yes, I'm even voting for Cory Redding, and he hasn't exactly had a Pro Bowl year. Any little bit helps! I'm hoping Chris Carr gets his due since he's been having a great season. For whatever reason, Josh Wilson isn't on the ballot, otherwise, I'd be voting for him, too.
