There are numerous scenarios where playing off is the better strategy for a CB. Safety help isn't always going to be there for different reasons and against a good QB, that could mean surrendering 6 points.

The 3 reason I see why playing off the ball is needed are the penalties;
1)Holding
2) PI
3)accidental unsportsmanlike conduct!

Unless the Ravens win the Super Bowl, with the offense putting up big numbers in the play-offs, I don't see Cam garnering much head coaching interest.

I can name at-least half a dozen guys that have had interviews and are now coaching with other teams...
