Here's a question: Is it better for the Jets to win and get us one game closer to the division title when we win tomorrow, or is it better for the Steelers to win and all but lock up our play-off berth? Is it possible for the Steelers to drop two games before the season ends? What say you?

Jets no doubt. We get the division, we get home playoff games. Plus we hold the tiebreaker with the Jets for the wildcard. So its okay to battle with them. In all honesty its not them we need to worry about. It's the Colts, Chargers and KC. We need to keep winning.

Either way I will be happy with the outcome of this game. Because somebody has to lose.

I know the Steelers would need to lose two. But their offense has looked bad and Troy P is out until the playoffs, so there is always hope.

Actually there are scenarios where the Ravens can win the division with the same record as the steelers, although it involves them losing to the Browns. But, alas, we can't affect the outcome of other games, just try to win ours.

Jets Win!!! I hate the Stillers!

Haha yea. I hate the Steelers. A win for them is never a favorable thing. Forget scenarios.

A loss or two will break their momemtum. If Troy won't return until playoff, I think they might lose more than 1 game.

I would agree with you if the next games on the Steelers schedule involved playing QBs with the last name of Manning, Brady or Brees. Those are QBs who would be able to expose their secondary without Troy and take advantage of it. The problem is they don't play the Colts, and they have already faced Brady & Brees, and for the remaining schedule they don't play a QB who can expose their secondary.

Today- Sanchez: Look at how he just folds in the winter time, no way he could do anything in Pittsburgh.

Thursday- Clausen: I have a hard time believing Jimmy Clausen could doom the Steelers and take advantage of Troy not playing.

Week 17 Colt McCoy: Browns are playing well so McCoy I would say has a better shot but still I don't think he'll be able to expose the Steelers secondary without Troy.

We need the Jets to win today and have the Browns beat the Steelers in Week 17 and for us to win out because that can get us the division, the 2 Seed and a Bye at 12-4 and they would drop to 11-5 and the 5th seed.

While I somewhat agree with you. If you remember last year the Steelers couldn't close games against the Raiders with Gradkowski and I remember a few other collapses against less then stellar QBs without Troy back there. So anything is possible with his absence.

We want the Jets to win. The Ravens haven't given up on winning their division just yet. Ask me at 4:00PM and I may change my mind.

If the Jets could possibly win today it will make it better. We have 2 more games to play after this one this is not the deciding factor for the season...

If we lose....IF..... and the JETS win....and the COLTS win....that puts extra pressure on us going against our division rivals who would like nothing more than to bump us out of contention...we hold our own destiny...OR maybe Cam does...lol

However IF we lose, and the Jets lose, we still hold the tiebreak over the Jets, thereby giving ourselves that extra cushion- which by the way we have been playing of late, may come in handy. Tell me you are 100% confident that we won't be exposed by the Saints and I'll tell you that you are a liar! lol....and yes I am concerned, as this team is on short rest after the grueling games we just played. Saints had an extra day and a half to prepare, along with their momentum.

But - WE MUST PROTECT THIS HOUSE! GO RAVENS!

We still need the Steelers to lose this game AND the game against Cleveland to win the division, right?

Nards. :(

Might need a little bit more than that, but in a nutshell, yes. If the Steelers lose one more game in the next two weeks and the Ravens win out, the division belongs to our boys.

Steelers starting at their own 3 yard line with 2:30 left in the game. Current Score 20-17 Jets. Steelers still have all three timeouts as well.

Ok at Jets barely wasted any time. Steelers ball again, 2:08 left, one time out left , starting at their own 8 yard line.

Sweet mother of god, Jets had just sacked Roethlisberger and put them in a third and 26 situation and steelers converted
