y doesn't harb use his LBs as pass rushers, we dont need all those DTs, all we need is nghata, redding, suggs, JJ, kruger on the d line, then use LBs to blitz inside, stunts or off the edge like ellerbe, mcclain, lewis, gooden, we need more speed to get to brees in this game, so inactivate DTs and add more speed harb. i bet if we blitz ellerbe more we will get more sacks, he seems aggressive and has a knack for the ball, play da man harb, play da man harb!!

Really?

The Saints don't pass the ball on every single down. If the team were to deactivate all their run-stuffing DTs besides Ngata, the defense would get gashed even more on the ground than we've seen this season. Balance is needed when it comes to personnel, not loading up one type of player.

First off... Suggs and Johnson [i]are[/i] linebackers. Lewis, McClain, Gooden, and Ellerbe have all been used in the blitz before. However, they are also used often in coverage and run stuffing. The linebacker position is a very dynamic position.

It's also not like we're holding a huge number of defensive tackles either. Only three on the roster (four if you include Ngata). As ED20 said, we need the balance between the run defense and pass rushing. Plus, you're acting as if Ellerbe is a monster in the pass rush, he's good but he's not the end-all solution to the pass rush.

Not allowed to wear alternate uniforms in the Super Bowl, per league rules. Also, alternate jerseys are only allowed to be worn twice a year, with unlimited restrictions in the postseason except for the Super Bowl.

Love the all black, I missed it. I know Harbs does not like it but I think he may have made the conssesion for the fans, as much as the players. Despite what some said about him 2 weeks ago Harbs loves the support this team gets, and he knows we love the all blacks. Thanks Harbs! Thanks guys for playing a great game and finishing with a W. I don't care what uniforms you wear, the most important thing is the W at the end of the day.

Those guys love the all black, and Im sure we will break them out again versus the Bengals. That Bengals game could potentially mean a lot.

Ugh, as much as all of our losses have been disappointing, the Bengals one kills me. They are such a bad team! Ugh, the division should of been ours this year.

Yeah, that loss hurt. The Bengals are not good because they don't play well together for the most part. But, with that much talent on one team, its not surprising that they beat good teams every once in a blue moon.
