Favorite Stand Up Comedians

I didn't really like Seinfeld's stand-up, from what I've seen, but his show is one of the best things on television, still.

I think the guy behind the show, Larry David, made the show special. He's not a standup comedian, but he sure is a comedic genius with shows like Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

One of my other favorite shows. He's awesome. Not a lot of my friends like that show but it has me in fits, regularly. It gets funnier as the show goes on. His character on the show is hilarious, he picks fights with every tiny injustice in the world.

Yea Chris Rock's HBO standups became instant classics.
Sure did. I can even't quote the best moments but most of us know what they are.

Louis CK and Brian Regan would be my top 2 right now. I was lucky enough to get to see both of them in Milwaukee a few months back.

I don't know. Two years ago when we lost to the Steelers and sent them to a Superbowl, I went nuts and posted crazy amounts of obscenities, my post was filled with about 200 asterisks.

That led to my one and only moderator warning (actually a couple of them dinged me all at the same time, which gave me a super warning).
I wish my moderator warning had an interesting backstory like that... yet it was for having a signature that was too big. =\

On topic:
I'm also a fan of Brian Regan. I can't help but laugh when he does his bit about being dumb in school "What's the plural of box? Boxen. I bought two boxen of donuts!"

True. Too bad he died just before his career could have really taken off.

The more you panic, the higher up the list you go.

Carlin, ravensorioleshoyas, Hicks, Pryor

Haha alright

It's too bad I can't post any of his youtube videos since they're all horribly inappropriate

I before E, except after C. And when sounding like A, as in neighbor and weigh. And on weekends and holidays and all throughout May. And you'll always be wrong, no matter what you say!

"Every McDonald's commercial ends the same way, right? McDonald's commercials' end like this 'Prices and participation may vary'. Now I wanna open a McDonald's and not participate in anything. I wanna be a stubborn McDonald's owner. I'll say cheeseburgers? Nope! We got spaghetti... and blankets! But we're not affiliated with that clown. He attracts too many children."

Love Mitch.

LOL. Also from one other Chris Rock show, Michelle Obama wanted her girlfriend Keke to be sec. of defense and said "she can fight."

I had tickets to see Mitch the day after he died :34853_brickwall: .

He still makes me laugh more than anyone. Just reading his jokes on here is hilarious even though I've heard them dozens of times. The only comedian I can think of that I would want to see now is Demetri Martin.

I hope you mean you happened to buy tickets expecting him to be alive rather than some general admission to whenever he'd be doing his first posthumous show.
