thought it was a little bit more of an interesting read than any of the others... it gives you what everyone thought about the scuffle, from players to coaches, not just a select few people here and there.

it may be like the other things that have been posted up on here, it may not, its all a matter of personal oppinion...and i thought it was an interesting read.

The more I think about it the more I agree with the last comment by Samari Rolle, "It's a culture change, you've got to go with the flow." Before this the veterans on the team were coddled and certain people were guaranteed their spots based on prior performances. Now with the new Head Coach at the wheel and the new guys coming in the veterans (like Corey Ivy) are on edge because they are no longer certain they will make the team so they are scrapping to get their place just like every other Free Agent and Rookie, which I think lends the team toward being hungrier and tougher when it comes to game time because each player can be confident that they earned their spot on the roster, no matter where it is.

On a side note it is also interesting to see the change in perspective that comes with age, just compare Pryce's reaction to the 'brawl' and how Gordon reacted after it was over, I think Pryce was right to say that younger guys are still looking to prove how tough they are in life while the older player have proved in on the field and don't need to show that anymore at practice.

you know what they say....... with Change, everything changes. and by the looks of things right now for the Baltimore Ravens, things are changing almost daily, and the new setting with the new coaches and what not, are beginning to take effect (positively that is) everyone seems to be responding to the change relatively well and adjusting accordingly. with this new change in mind, you are starting to see everything get a little bit more competitive and you see players (mostly the veterans) starting to guard their positions and really step it up a notch, because now, no one is promised anything (except for a select few)..... thus the position battles are wide open and everything is up for grabs.... the Veterans dont want to lose their starting job to the younger guys and the Younger guys want to start, so you see this fierce, friendly competiton in which is bringing out the best of both the older and younger guys alike.

Itll also make them better overall. Now that most of them arent guaranteed a spot theyll definitely get better if they want to keep it.
