,
A great job? The offense left the defense out to dry the second half, whatd they get 4 first downs the entire half? There was defensive guys on the sidelines getting oxygen and IV because they'd be on the field the whole second half.
are we really going to blame the offense for the defense's ineptitude? They had basically the first half off, because our offense was on the field most of the first half.
The time of possession was identical...within a few seconds of each other. Houston's offense did nothing to help their defense, but they didn't give up multiple 90+ yard drives, so they didn't get as gassed as we did.
Yeah we had a 3 and out after the first time our defense fell flat on their faces. How many 3 and outs did Houston have the first half?
Sorry man, but blaming the offense for blowing a 21 point lead rather than the people who gave those points up makes no sense to me. That's what the defense gets paid to do; to make plays and stop drives.,,,,,,,,

i dont think that trying to put the ball in Boldin's hands with a quick pass to gain 2 yards is a bad call, no. If we complete that pass, we'd be saying 'its about time Cam grew some balls and stopped being conservative'. Well, probably not, everyone will still hate him lol.

Overall I think cam called a helluva game. And you know that I'd slit cam's throat in a heartbeat, or at least hold him down for someone else to do it. Just giving credit where it's due.

It's Camerons fault that the defense allowed two 95+ yard touchdown drives!

Id say it was a good call if he'd put Joe in shotgun for a quick pass, considering Joe was 70% from the gun that night. But why would Cam do that...

Im not saying the defense isnt responsible for the points they gave up, but 4 first downs in the entire second half from the offense? You cant seriously say thats all on the defense. I dont even know if our 2000 defense would have been able to stand after that.

The defense wore themselves out by not getting off the field. Granted, the few offensive chances did not yield anything, the D was the reason for the crazy TOP change from first half to second.

Yes I understand that, but the offense can give the defense a breather by actually sustaining a drive after ONE of those long Texan drives. They didnt do it, and got 2 of the first downs in the entire second half on the drive right before the 2 min warning.

The Ravens offense only had 4 drives to work with. One of those is including their last drive where they ran the clock out, so, really, only 3 drives. The offense didn't give up 21 points in the second half, allowing multiple 95+ yard drives.

The offense deserves some blame, but the defense deserves the majority. That was sad. Watching Jarret Johnson, winded, trying to chase Schaub was embarrassing.
