Is It Time For Housh And Stallworth To Shine?

20 posts in this topic

I have read and listened to many of the literary and on-air experts debating what is wrong with the Ravens. Many have advocated that we rest Mason and Boldin for the playoffs. I don't think that this is the time. Is it time for Housh and Stallworth to shine? Let's look at it this way. Housh may or may not be the replacement for Mason for next year or in the near future. Will we lock him up to a long-term contract based upon this year's production? Probably not! Will Stallworth be asked back after suffering an unfortunate injury in pre-season and missing several crucial games in the first quarter of the season? Maybe! I just want to hear what my peers have to say about this crucial subject. I think that it's time for the Ravens to show that their offense isn't a joke and that we are ready to go deep into the playoffs. Baltimore, sound off!

Who says we should rest Boldin and Mason? That's ridiculous, no expert would say that. We're in the middle of a WC race. We have to win 3 of 4 to keep things in our own hands, otherwise who knows what can happen.

This. Mason and Boldin are veterans but they can still play and play hard. The only logic I can see in sitting Mason would be to heal his finger, if that's still an issue - otherwise, both have been relatively healthy this season.

Can you please name one individual who has said the Ravens should rest Q and Mason for the play-offs?

Yeah, I've never, ever heard anyone suggest we rest Mason and Boldin for the playoffs. I mean, come on, it's not like we have a playoff berth clinched. We still have to win.

I think I read it on the Texan team page that we should rest our starting offense tonight. Honestly, I'm pretty sure it was on the sun today, but it could have been SI. I was listening to ESPN radio when I heard that the Ravens plan to play Housh and Stallworth more to rest Mason and Boldin. Hopefully, they will all score tonight. I'd like to see Rice gain 100 yards for a change. We need a high scoring game to shut up the complainers. As for you Asian, I have NO Steelers friends, how about you?

Boldin will be fine, Mason could fight through what he wants. We need to get a good lead first and the run game to start clicking.

tonight....the entire offense will shine!

-the O-line will protect Joe...especially the blindside
-the Ravens running game makes a triumphant return to Baltimore and sets the table for the passing game
-Joe "Cool" will have pin-point accuracy and release the ball quickly and play like a 6-8 year "successful" QB
-Mason, Boldin, Housh and Stallworth will contribute big time
-Ed Dickson will play like a veteran

defensively....the Ravens will do what they do...shutdown ballin!

LET'S GO RAVENS!

I really think you misinterpreted what was said man. Stallworth and Houshmandzadeh will likely get more snaps because they offer different skill-sets but no oneyou haven't proven otherwise) has said the team should actually rest Q and Mason for the play-offs.

Well, so far the O and D has been looking great. Hopefully, we can hold this lead through the 4th quarter.
