How Hard Is It To Get Tickets To Brown Game?

8 posts in this topic

Hi guys,

I was wondering how hard it is to get tickets to games - especially vs the Browns on Sept 21. Rutgers plays Navy the day before and I was thinking of trying to get to both games. Thanks.

No harder then any other game, I would think. Single games usually go on sale in July.

Thanks. I am in Jersey area and don't even try to go to pro games here since demand is so high. I wasn't sure what Baltimore market was like.

The Ravens sell out every game, so you may have to shop in the aftermarket. The Ravens ticket reselling partner, Tickets Now, lists many upper end zone and corner seats.

The Browns have never really been a big draw here. Few Browns fans make the 6 hour trip. Early in the season, you should have little problem getting reasonably priced Browns tickets. There may be Ravens-Browns face value alternatives available, if you are willing to take the risk of getting skunked. Scattered Ravens singles go on sale July 25th. Or, you may be able to score leftover tickets from the Browns players and coaches, if any, which are sold by the Ravens Ticket Office to the public on the Friday or Saturday before the game.

Navy-Rutgers will likely sell out, but aftermarket tickets could be available at or below face value on game day - depending on how much of a crowd comes down from New Jersey. The Navy ticket office just put tickets on sale on May 6th to all home games except Notre Dame.

(btw: I attend many Ravens and Navy away games, always paying face value or below for tickets obtained via their respective offices. If you know a Browns or Rutgers season ticket holder, that would be the way to go)

Thanks for replies. The Rutgers forum on Rivals (500 people being on at any given moment not unusual) has been buying Navy tickets since mid week and I expect it will be a sell out. I was hoping Browns tickets might be easier than say Pitt so I can probably be optimistic and make plans. The date is nice too and I don't have to worry about snow lol. Thanks

yea, its the same as any other game except for play off games, Championship Games, Superbowl Games, those i would have to imagine, go rather quickly, so you would have to get your tickets/seats a lot earlier than most other games.
