I hope the tip wasn't true.
Aaron Wilson tweeted that Reed didn't seem worried so I hope that's a good sign.

From what I've read somewhere (can't remember where)

The police were at his house, and they tried to get in. But they heard these flushing noise (presumably something illegal going down the toilet) and the police rammed the door and found some of the substance left. But no charges so that is always good

It wasn't reported by PFT first.
Aaron Wilson tweeted about it a few times and there is more than 1 source.

Well if he needs a place to lay low, he can always bunk with Dannell Ellerbe in the dog house.

Will Ellerbe ever be out of that dog house? I miss him.
And I really don't think Reed did anything, being a 5th round pick. He is young so I am sure he associated with other young and immature people. Some dispute or something may have caused someone to say something like this. And speaking of immature, those comments on there.
If Reed did something though, I don't think he should stick around.

Take a look at Barnes and CMac and that will answer your question. Back on topic, I really hope this turns out to be nothing, Reed has a lot of potential for this team as a kick returner and possibly a receiver one day, just look at his highlights.

Now, back off topic real quick again. Why Ellerbe? I remember him with some stupid penalty many weeks ago, I can't remember what but I think a personal foul or some unnecessary celebration of some sort. But I thought he played in at least one more game after that so I was never sure if that was the case.

I think it was the Falcons that did Ellerbe in. From training camp, the coaches haven't been happy with him and him showboating in the final pre-season game didn't help either. I'm pretty sure he'd drawn some penalties before the game in Atlanta but holding Gonzalez the way he did and the block in the back just buried him in the doghouse.

Personally, I think Harbaugh should play as he's much better than Gooden and more physical than McClain but he's the HC and I'm just a fan.

I'm not really buying this. David Reed's house game must be pretty sad if you can hear the toilet flush from the front door...

Narcotics could be anything from illegal stuff to cough medicine with codeine that was prescribed to pain med that is prescribed I think we need to wait and see what it is.

You got a point, but if in fact the "flushing of the toilet" sound is 100% a fact, why would he be flushing something that was prescribed to him?? Sorry but you flush something when you're GUILTY of possessing something that is against the law, in most cases nine times out of ten it would be illegal drugs.

Baltimore County is weird, your neighbors can report you for anything and they will send out someone to investigate 'anonymously'. We had some crazy neighbors feuding 2 summers ago from everything to this guys BBQ smoker to dog poop, a trash can without a lid to to tall grass after it rained for a week lol They would send the cops or Code Enforcement so until I hear different I will give him the benefit of it being something stupid.
And yes if you are prescribed Tylenol 3 or lortab or cough medicine with codine and don't have it in a bottle with your name and doctors info you can get busted until they figure it out.

In the privacy of his own home, he should be able to do whatever he wants without law enforcement interference. Police banging down the door because they hear a flushing sound? How is that constitutional? They need a search warrant just to enter a home. A flushing sound is not probable cause in the least. People go to the bathroom all the time. This is ridiculous.

Maybe the dude was just in the bathroom lol

If they had anything solid he'd already be charged. However, I'm sure the coaches are all over this with him as they should be.

Have to take a wait and see approach with this. I'm not one to condemn someone before any evidence has been presented.

Oh I'm not saying or trying to insinuate that I think he is guilty or even involved in illegal activity. I was just saying if it's true about when the police came knocking and the " heard the toilet flushing " when they were at the door, that just doesn't look good on his part and they also said they took something residue or whatever from a table, I believe. I certainly hope he isn't involved with anything illegal for his sake and our teams sake.

Yeah you're right. Although it would be quite the coincidence that he felt the need to flush his meds when the police are ready to come through the door lol. But who knows.......
