i kept faith in our team when they were still in it and very much "alive". i always do, at least until it seems the game is absolutely out-of-reach. but until that point, i keep the faith.

I respect you for the whole faith but its hard to win when you cant beat the refs.

( The only one better in my opinion was the come back game way back when against the sea hawks )

Man, I still rememebr that game. All the fair weather fans walking out because they thought the game was over. Man, next home game I razzed them like CRAZY!

I still yell rememebr the Seahawks game when I see fair weather fans leaving early. Gotta beat the rush I guess.

Man, that night will never be forgotten.

The tailgating in the extreme nighttime weather, the insanely loud/rowdy crowd, sliding off the road on the way home because the roads iced up...it was INSANE!

Makes me so proud to be a Ravens fan. I can't wait for this season and to tailgating at the best D*MN stadium in the NFL!

I was ticked about that game. My mom made me cut the TV off cause I kept throwing stuff. Then my brother called and asked me did I watch the comeback and of course I didnt because I couldnt watch TV.

Anyway, having a couple minutes left against a so-so Seahawks teams and 40 seconds against an unbeaten Pats team, is two completely different things.

i thought there were going to be fights when i was walking out of the stadium. most of the pats fans were just trying to get out of there because they know that the game was stolen from us and we were all uber ticked off but there were also a few that thought it was funny to rub it in.... i seriously thought they were going to get beat down by somebody. i was upset enough that i may have considered getting a couple kicks in myself.... but all in all i was proud of how my ravens played. they played their hearts out and thats really all i could ask of them.

This may just be because I hate every team from the North in every single sport but I have noticed that the farther north the opposing team comes from the ruder the fans.

Before any of you folks who took geography lessons from the NFL start yapping about Baltimore being a northern city, let me tell you that Maryland is below the Mason Dixon, so technically its a southern state.

Yeah my wife hid her Pats jezey pretty early on.

Some drunk ravens fan in our section was over-the line trash talking. Throwing stuff at Pats fans and cussing them out. He was removed early in the 3rd. Cheers from every one and a sigh of relief from the Pats fans.

Really people it is football GAME. Trash talk is one thing. It is to be expected if you wear on opposing teams jerzeys into ANY stadium. But show some class and dont make personal attacks. Have fun and enjoy the game and DONT BE A JERK.

He didn't have possession of the football going out of bounds, the touchdown should have never counted. Game over Ravens win.

In my opinion the Patriots were 17-2 in 2007.

ARE you kidding me i am still super pissed

Me too.

That game is a forbidden topic in my house. I watched that game with my husband and oldest daughter. As soon as my husband realized how the game was going to end, he got out of the room with my daughter in tow.

That was the day that I realized god was an .ssh_le.

because only divine intervention would give the patriots (pats suck) umpteen tries to get that last score.

god must be a pats (cheaters) fan.

On the plus side I love that they totally made the mnf crew look stupid with their pregame predictions of a blow out.

Agreed. That was probably the only night in Boller's career that I can say I was truely proud of him. They talked about Tom Brady like he was a God that couldnt be touched and they made Kyle out to be a this scared little boy who couldnt take the heat, although thats normally true more or less. He made them stick their foot right in their mouths. It was Boller that looked like the God and Brady that looked like the scared little boy.

I believe our team really wanted it more in the end... Its just that the refs decided to give a helping hand to the cheaters.

I have never scream so much at a game in my life. All the points, the hail mary, Bart Scotts antics. One of the greatest games I've ever seen the Ravens play.

I think the Steelers game was worse. Because, we had given up and pretty well walked into the stadium ready for the defeat.

But, for our scrubs to beat their playoff team with Charlie Batch (who many Steeler's fans feel is/ was as good as Ben at times) was such a sweet victory.

The Steeler's fans were soooooooo p*ssed off all they could talk about was that they were going to the playoffs and we were not.

Yeah, and how embarrassing was that loss too?! :D

And yes, that ball was so obviously bobbled. ONLY the Pats would be given that touchdown.

haha the steelers game was awesome. I knewsomething was going to happen before we even got there. We got past by some car waving terrible towels out the windows and blowing their horns. Then about 10 minutes later we drove past them as they changed their flat tire on the side of 695 and we had our revenge.

Yeah, we actually tailgated beside and shared food with..gasp...Steeler's fans.

We told them this would never be happening fi the Ravens didn't suck so badly.

After the game those guys were in shock!

Re: Pats-Ravens, I pin the loss solely on Billick's senseless time-out call  when we stopped them and the ball, and game, would have been ours. But, I know, "would have beens" abound. It was sweet to see the Giants put away the Pats, though. :D

There are alot of things we can blame on Billick but this is not one of them. He wasnt even the one that called the timeout. Also, how about we blame the guys playing for a second like Ed Reed not protecting the football when he was already within Stover's range, right before halftime. Even if the O didnt gain another yard, we had 3 points from the TO. And assuming the rest of the game falls as it did, we are looking at O.T. Or how about Boller pick, this could actually be blamed on Billick. Calling a passing play when you are in the lead, in field goal range, and your running back is gashing the other teams defense is beyond me. None the less Boller should have never thrown that ball. That was atleast another 3 points and the momentum staying on our side. Finally, Bart Scott temper tantrum. If he doesnt get those two penalties, we may have actually had a chance at the last ditch effort to steal the game in the last minute. Maybe Reed or Figurs have a big return, maybe the kicker kicks the ball out of bounds in hopes of avoiding Figurs and we get the ball at mid field. We only needed a field goal to go to O.T. but his antics assured that we'd have to go the 80 yards.

I can't agree with this at all.

We did as well as we did in that game because of our aggressiveness.

Settling for field goals is what has doomed this team for years. We have always booed due to our lack of aggressiveness= let's just settle for the field goal.

The thing I LOVED about that game was the fact tyhat we were throwing for touchdowns. As fans, we were laughing and 'high-fiving' because NOBODY expected Billick to be calling the offensive plays he was calling.

Reed fumbling the ball; Scott causing penalties during his tantrum- yes, those ate me up!

The difference being our running back was already killing the other team. There are times to be agressive and there are times to play it safe. That point in the game was a time to play it safe, we had the lead with something like 4 minutes to go against an unbeaten team with a QB that is known for comebacks. At that point it was time give the ball to Willis and Musa and let them run the clock down. If we run the ball and we dont get the first we force the Pats to burn a timeout or let the clock run down and we still get points. And we keep the momentum on our side. Our throwing the ball deep into the wind, was not a good idea in my opinion. And obviously, it didnt work out. We can win by kicking field goals, we cant win by turning the ball over.
