Harrison: The Ravens Tried To Hurt Me

67 posts in this topic

Didn't see this posted already, so here goes:

So, apparently, that scuffle that happened during the Ravens extra point took place because James Harrison claims Chester was "intentionally went after linebacker James Harrison - and perhaps tried to hurt him. . ." Why? All because Chester "fired off the line to hit Harrison" so the Steelers say.

Harrison said it was obviously deliberate, because linemen do not do that on extra points, it was "blatant" and "on purpose". Farrior called it a "dirty play", and Keisel said "It was a designed play. . . The Ravens wanted to take him down. He just took off and kept driving him. I do think it was intentional".

I'm sorry, but Harrison has been the biggest crybaby this season, and this only adds to it. Chester (and the Ravens) wanted to hurt Harrison? But wasn't Harrison just saying earlier this season that HE plays to hurt people? It's good to see you can dish it out, but can't take it, James. That, of course, is if what you and your buddies are saying is even true.

NFL.com proudly displays the Steeler's testimony that they were treated unfairly. But Ed Reed wants to say Hines Ward tried to knock him out of the game on the first play... Apparently the news doesn't make it that far.

Pretty sure it's just a false-start by Chester. But, no, it's a conspiracy, Steelers

Their stadium should be renamed Kleenex Field with all the crying that comes from there. Tomlin, Ward, and Harrison have a weekly whine session. And now the rest of the team wants to chime in? Fine. Only Dick Lebeau has enough sense to remain quiet.

It just amuses me that a guy who's gone on the record to say he wants to hurt people, starts belly-aching the second he thinks anyone is trying to hurt him. First, James is targeted by the NFL, and now people are trying to hurt him! Shame on you, opposing teams and the NFL. The man has kids, for crying out loud!

Did you know the Pittsburgh's three rivers are sourced by Mike Tomlin, Hines Ward, and James Harrison?

If you think Chris Chester is cheap-shotting you, you're wrong. He's just that bad that he'll fire off the line on an XPA

Harrison says Chester tried to cheap-shot him because James was working him the entire game before that... Congratulations on overpowering a second string offensive linesman, James!

I didn't know Chris Chester had a reputation as a dirty player, as James Harrison implied. Hell, I didn't know Chris Chester had a reputation, period. -_-

I saw this and was like whatever. Chester false start. He was prepping to explode off the line. He just jumped the gun. Now if you want to talk about dirty howabout Harrison taking the extra shot at Chester when he was face down in the grass.

I like how no one except Al Michaels and Chris Collinsworth caught that. There's no footage on YouTube of the punches Harrison was giving him or anything. I figure, with the motion Harrison was making with his arm, it was pretty obvious that he was throwing fists, but I guess not so obvious after all...

Every sports media outlet focuses on alleged "spitting motion" that Le'Ron apparently made, but no one talks about alleged punching motions that Harrison made.

Hilarious. I thought it was obvious Chester jumped the snap and then eventually lost balance and fell... "Designed play" .... If we were designing a play to hurt Harrison Im almost positive Chester would be one of the last to be the aggressor ha...

I just can't believe that nothing happened to Harrison from his blatent punches... Dude is a cheap whine player... Its a shame

I aint gonna lie, i had a clear view of that play, and Chester did seem to go overboard. So what? The team who claims they are going to go out and hit people because they'll get fined anyway is seriously going to cry about chester's failed attempt at a cheap shot? If thats not the pot calling the crybaby black, then I dunno what is

I love how the dirtiest players in the league today are crying about nothing.

Hines Ward and James Harrison do not deserve the honor of playing in the NFL. Period.

They play dirty whenever they can but, as soon as someone does anything to them, cry as if they've never done anything wrong in their footballing lives. I would be overjoyed if neither were allowed to play in the NFL again.

Hines Ward also went for Reed early in the game, you know, to compound the serious nerve impingement he caused in the first place.

If any player has ever deserved a career-ending injury, is Whiney Hiney.

Chester has come out and denied this, rightfully - LINK

And John Harbaugh is spitting fire, recently, saying..
Ravens coach John Harbaugh was asked his thoughts on Harrison's allegations -- and had a blunt response.

"I could care less what he thinks," the coach said.
I LOVE it!

It's not just Harrison that thinks it. The NFL is actually looking into it and after reading about it I can see why he believes Chester was up to no good.

Bottom line is, there is no reason for Chester to charge Harrison in that situation.

So did Harbaugh tell Chester to break his knees, or did he just come up with that on his own?

Defensive end Brett Keisel, who is on the Steelers' extra-point defense, agreed, saying: "I think it was a designed play. He just took off and kept driving him. I do think it was intentional."

Oh ok, it was a designed play. No wonder Harbaugh doesn't care what Harrison thinks, Harbaugh already knows all the details. He designed the play!

Not that I'm saying what Chester did was okay but it's no different than what Joey Porter did to Heap a number of years back.

Its way different....Porter deliberately pushed and continued to hit Heap who was limping from a rolled ankle, whereas this was a false start.

How about the accusations of Hines going after Rays knees?
