Is it time to give this guy another chance? Our run game has really suffered, and we miss Yanda at RG. Harbaugh says that he wants to improve the run game, this is one way to do it. Whatever we lose in terms of pass protection will be somewhat offset by a better run game and more effective play action.

Besides, Cousins may have improved his pass protection skills. Most of the judgments about his pass protection abilities are based on the Steelers game last season. His mistakes came late in the game after he had been injured.

I'd rather see Cousins get some reps at RG to see if he can add some power inside, ideally it would be better to move Yanda inside but Harbaugh wants to avoid making too many changes on the line at this point in the season.

Ive thought Cousins plays more like a G than a T too. He is extremely nasty in mentality and physically. Too bad he plays the wrong position.

If he is healthy I dont see why we wouldn't give him reps. I don't buy the whole "not wanting to change chemistry on the line". especially not when they are playing the way they are...Put yanda at RG and put Cousins back at RT. Do it. Do it.

I've been saying that for a few weeks now. Especially when Chris Chester got hurt, I thought for sure we'd see Cousins at RG. His weakness is speed rushers when he plays tackle so I would think playing guard would be perfect for him.

Instead Tony Moll gets the start. How the heck is he a better option? Seriously. Moll is tall and fairly thin, in other words built more like a tackle which he is. Cousins may be listed as a tackle but I think he's built more like a guard.

That would really improve the run game. The Ravens ran for over 150 yards against the Steelers at Heinz Field last year. Cousins isn't great at pass protection, but running wise it could really help patch up the right side.

As much as I hate Cousins. I would love to see what he can do as the prototypical RG mauler. But its no surprise he isn't seeing the field. I just feel like he has issues with letting defense men into his head when playing tackle.
