Would you take Billick as our Offensive Cordiantor next season?
It wouldnt be a bad idea tho.. look wat he did in 98 with the Vikings

I don't see Billick settling for anything less than a head coaching job. So there is no chance he would come back to the team that fired him as his replacement's subordinate.

Is this a joke? Hell no....horrible idea, Billick was calling the plays when he was here...remember how great that was?

Billick fired the Offensive coordinator one year and took over play calling, I think in 1 game the offense responded but it wasnt great and it didnt get any better...He's overrated as the genius because he was on that Vikings team...No Billick should stay at NFL Network

WOW... How soon people forget.. If anyone was a fan back in 2007, when we stank and before the bandwagon hopped on, you know what happened.

To put it diplomatically: hell no!

And I'm a Billick fan, defended him all throughout that season.

He had two of the greatest WRs in NFL history, a damn good slot WR in Jake Reed and a good RB in Robert Smith and one of the better QBs in league history in Randall Cunningham. No hard to put together a good offense with that crew.

Almost forget. That '98 Vikings offense also had a HOF tackle in Randall McDaniel and two Pro Bowlers.

ahaha .... we need to bring him back just for the laughs it would bring.
I've always had a soft spot in my heart for BB. I'd love to see him back here in some capacity.

You're delusional!!

I love Mason and Q and Houshmandzadeh is very good too but both Carter and Moss in '98 were better than any WR on the Ravens. And with Reed, they were a near-impossible group to contain.

Stallworth is already "used to be playing" but the genius OC thinks reverses and a deep route once every three games are the only two ways to utilize him.

Yes, Flacco is still growing but he's not a better QB than Cunningham was in '98.

They're not pretty equal at all man.

I think Billick would get us back to that Ground and Pound Raven football. But it wouldn't happen. It would just be to weird withing the organization and in the lockerroom.

Birk was actually a rookie on that team but he's no lock to make the HOF. Oher is good but he's had his struggles this year. I like Grubbs; he's a solid player.

Regardless, that Vikings team's o-line is superior to the Ravens' o-line at the moment.

I've always been a fan of Bilick, even despite the stagnant output from the offense over the years. With that said, I really do not think Brian would solve anything. Sure, maybe he'd put together some wizardry with Flacco, Rice, Boldin, Mason, Housh, and Heap. However, there's no guarantee that there would be any improvement. Honestly, I think Brian would be more than content to stay on the NFL Network as an analyst, and doing play-by-play for some games.

If Cam is let go (like many want), the team needs to find a coordinator who has the, for lack of a better term, "killer instinct" that Cam seems to lack. As well as the know-how to crank out a balanced offensive between the air and the ground, and the ability to utilize the personnel on this team. That may be insanely obvious, but it cannot be ignored. Cam has shown that you cannot focus on the pass constantly, then focus on the run constantly without ever trying to blend the two to keep the opposing defense on their toes.

Tough to ground and pound when you have a giant hole at RG, a FB who is more finesse than physical and a 210 pound HB.

It's impossible as it goes against league standards. We're still paying Billick money, HC money from a contract he signed the year we cut him. Therefore he can not be re-signed to a lower position until the organizations financial obligation and term of obligation is fulfilled.

Let's face it, brian billick had to deal with an offense with minimal talent for a pass offense, but our line and running game was so good. The recievers and QB we have right now are probably better than we billick had to work with. I wouldn't mind seeing what he can do with our offense, I bet he would of loved to have Joe instead of Boller.

Nah we have been pass happy all season. This doesn't have to do with Moll filling in for Chester or McClain recently getting injured.

LeRon is an old-school, physical FB - he's one of the best in the league.

I think CAM kept BILLICK's FADE PASS in his playbook, cause its usually good for 3 points! In fact, I think its one of the 3 passes we ever throw in the redzone.

never happen, but how funny would it be.

Billick had many great qualities, but play calling was not one of them.
