Marvin Harrison Under Investigation For Shooting?

I know he hasn't been arrested or charged with anything as of yet but seriously.. Marvin Harrison?!

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison is under investigation in his hometown of Philadelphia in a shooting that took place earlier this week, a source close to the investigation told Anthony Gargano of Philadelphia's WIP Radio.

The shooting reportedly occurred early Tuesday afternoon outside a North Philadelphia bar owned by Harrison.

Harrison has yet to be arrested or charged with the crime.

as a fan of the great sport of football...i hope he doesn't really get anything because he's a good guy (except for the fact that he plays for the Colts) other than that, he's a good guy, this incident occurred at the Bar he owns, something that he probably doesn't even stay at for too long and what not. so to charge him would be really stretching it.

I think that it was just because it was at his bar, I don't actually think he's a suspect. Like neeps, I didn't read the article, but I remember seeing something about it somewhere.

Yes, this is very disappointing and VERY serious.. there could be all sorts of charges, not the least of which being attempted murder possibly, but assault with a deadly weapon for sure and that's definitely a felony, especially with a gun being involved... not to mention the civil suits sure to come. I am VERY interested to see what comes of this and what the Commissioner will do once all the facts are in of course.

I think that last part will be very interesting. Its going to be interesting to see if the commissioner holds true to form and actually suspends one of the more popular players in the NFL. To this point he's had it pretty easy. Nobody likes Pacman and Henry because they had been repeat offenders before they even began producing on the field. And alot of people were already disgusted with Vick due to his hand gestures and water bottle incident. Its going to be interesting to see what happens if Harrison was actually involved.
