Our team and fanbase should be worried about the Ravens playing better, not what Pittsburgh is doing. If all the pieces are put together we are still the best team in the league.

Ravens are a good team..i wouldnt go as far as saying the best, when they lost at home to a qb that was playing with a broken foot and nose!

Pitt plays: Carolina, Cleveland, Cincy, Jets

They will probably go 3-1/4-0, giving us no chance to win the division. If either the Bengals/Browns can pull off the upset that'd be just dandy.

We play: Texans, Saints, Cleveland, Cincy

We will probably go 2-2/3-1, but we have to find a way to beat the Saints and Cincy, those are the two that make me nervous. Especially since Cincy plays us in the last game of the regular season, so you know they will want to make life miserable and knock us out of contention.

Wild card at best
Good chance to pull off a win wild card weekend doing our usual roadtrip post season thing
Second game we get a reality check served up to us.
One and done......Hon!

Now that I think about it, if Pittsburgh takes the division title, they'll probably get a first round bye (with the Pats/Jets). So we'd be playing... Jacksonville or KC.

Ha! Might as well be a first-round bye.

I wouldn't be that supremely confident. The Ravens are better than both of those teams but anything is possible in the post-season.

Well my logic is if you can't beat those teams, you're not winning any trophy this year.

Then again, if either of those teams did win the Super Bowl, good for them. At least it'd mean the Steelers/Jets/Pats didn't.

I support this logic.

As far as the wild card goes, the Ravens have a two game lead on the next closest team with four games left. As long as the Ravens dont have a major collapse, the playoffs are almost guaranteed.

If the Steelers win on Sunday and the Ravens lose on Monday night, I will not pay the playoff invoice. Otherwise I'm still holding out hope.

I'd love to see the Sqeelers lose out and totally miss the playoffs for a second consecutive year! That'd be GREAT!

There was a jerk on their forum who said "haha they are used to being the 6th seed".... and I thought to myself "and just what seed were you guys last year?" OH that's right, your team watched the playoffs from home HAHAHA
I wanted to say it to him, but I couldn't seem to stoop low enough to register at sqeelerfever.com so that I could.

That's very, very wishful thinking. Their schedule is looking pretty cake. 3 of their final 4 games at home. Panthers, Browns and Bengals. Jets will probably give them a run for their money.

I remember when everybody was analyzing the AFC North at the beginning of the year. And nobody gave the Steelers a chance at making the playoffs. Even scoffed at the very notion. Boy how things come to light.

We just have to take care of our business and ensure we join them.

Anything is possible. We just have to do our job and try our best to win out. I mean we own cinci an *** whoopin. I think we'll do ok against the saints it should be a good game as long as we can get pressure on brees. Pitt still has the jets which will be a good game, cinci which should be decent which most of the division games are and cleveland who has been shockin the league. hopefully they can help us.
