It's Clear: Cam Cameron Is Not An Elite Oc

106 posts in this topic

Ya know, I've always disagreed with replacing a coordinator during the season because of the chemistry stuff and learning new systems and terminology and stuff

but as I've said in other threads,

I can't stand up and defend Cameron any longer. Not after tonight and all the same olds.

The players failed to execute at times but he's proven time and time again, he has no killer instinct when sitting on a lead.

I applaud you for making this thread in defense of that topic that puts absolutely no blame on Cam and rather Flacco.

It often makes me wonder though how the front office and upper management feels about the situation. Do you think they see what we see, or just look at the winning record and put all of the weight in that?

I mean honestly, three out of the 4 losses were a result of the horrendous play calling. It's repetitive, and I don't see how anyone can defend the guy?!

we should be 10 and 2 rite now if it were not for TERRIBLE play calling.
I know other teams could make the claim for different reasons but this team could be undefeated if the play-calling was better.

harbs has to learn to hold his coordinators and players accountable. throw them under the bus and see how they respond. Great players and coaches will take it as challenge while poor ones will pout.

I don't think we want Marty as this team's OC.

the only reason i think he is great is because he saw in drew brees what no one else saw. AND took the chargers to a 14-2 record. where did cam cameron take the dolphins? of yeah 1-15.. idk i just can see shottenheimer being ALOT better than cam. but then again thats not that hard to do.

i wish we could just giet rid of him already and get marty shottenheimer on our team.
I gave you a +1 for get rid of Cam but Marty is not the answer. We need to stick to the Ground and Pound. Flacco is not an elite QB. He manages games. Tonight he managed to hold on to the ball to long and gave the game to Pittsburgh.

Lol, that's funny

What do you guys think about Jim Zorn, maybe he got hired just in case Cam couldn't get it done.

Every team likes to complain about their OC. Honestly, go to any other team's forums, especially after a loss, and you will learn their coordinators name fast.

To be fair, that Dolphins team had very little talent(making the Ravens losing to them even more pathetic).

You're entitled to liking Marty. I don't have a specific coach I want taking over the offense next season(I don't see them firing Cam this year) but I just want someone who can recognize the strengths of his personnel, adapt his play-calling for different situations and go for the kill when a team is down.

i agree. he needs a good oc that can teach him to get the ball out faster. and zorn isnt helping the situation either.

For the second time this year I'm embarrassed for my football team. I was embarrassed after the Atlanta game and I was embarrassed tonight. I'm tired of the blame game. The sad truth is we are just not that good. It's time to revamp. Part ways with some people and rebuild. If we can't beat the Steelers Pats Colts and Falcons and other top teans in this league then obviously its just not one thing. Our running game failed tonight, our pass protection failed tonight our secondary failed tonight and I'm tired of making excuses for Flacco. As far as I'm concerned lets keep Suggs and Haloti and Boldin and we can build a team around them. I was sick to my stomach after I saw the helmet to helmet on defenseless Miller. I thought he was dead. McClain should be booted from the league. I'm not waving my Ravens flag for the rest of the year. I am protesting my team!

Why in the world did you quote my post and then proceed to post this nonsense?

first off. relax. this isnt the end of the world. it is just one game. were still going to be in the playoffs. and if we win one more and pit lose one. im pretty sure were tied again. Can someone correct me on this? if they lose one and we win one, whats the tie breaker?

either way, its not the end of the world. yes this loss is a heartbreaker, but we still have a lot to be excited about. the colts are moving farther and father away from the playoffs, which helps us alot. and the steelers look alot more eatable this year than ever before. we could very well end up playing the jags in the first round. WHICH IS NOT SCARY whatsoever. all im saying is chill, breath, relax. everything will be O.K.
Don't say those words!

How soon we forget Billick's play-calling. Need we be reminded of the 2007 @ CIN debacle?
