Oh man, just watched it again and Landry had such a clean break to take the RB's legs out.....why did he go high? Aaaaahhhhhh
He plays with poor technique. He's proven it time and time again. I remember him going high against Peyton Hillis despite the RB having a full head of steam and whenever he goes for someone's legs, he lunges and whiffs horribly.

How many losses is it gonna take for us to finally turn the corner? I mean I can take losing to Pit, I'm alright with that...

But the fact is we had a chance to end the Ben streak, surpass the Steelers once and for all and really get to where we want to be. We blew it. Were still the same old 2nd class team, the same old pretty good team that doesn't have what it takes to reach the top.

I thought after the Falcons game we would be done with this losing crap and we'd be transformed. But were not. Tackling issues, injuries, inconsistency on offense and defense not closing out the big games are all signs of trouble in the playoffs, especially if we have to travel to Foxborough, Heinz Field or even Arrowhead.

So here's what needs to be answered. Are we done with this? Are we finally gonna come together and build a championship run? Are we finally gonna eliminate these ugly tendencies that kept us down the last two years and this year as well?

It shouldn't take this much heartbreak....but better late than never I guess

Josh Wilsons tackling was even worse last night.

I to can't blame any player for being upset. To have all that talent on the offense and still not put points on the board..... that is the coaches fault, we get out coached almost every game. Cam Cameron stop being a sissy and let the men play. Jim Zorn....stop teaching Flaco how to be a wimp and let him play ball.
With this team's personnel, they should be able to adapt to perform regardless of the circumstances. Player execution and a certain OC have hindered the offense's performance all year.<br />
We've been saying that all year long ... I can't blame him for thinking it's not going to change this year. If we haven't worked out our issues after 3/4 of a season, it's probably not going to happen at all.

Just stop. I saw Joe step up in the pocket and extend plays more than ever last night.

i was at this game "LIVE" last night and to be honest....the Ravens offense made the steelers defense seem like it was all of that...and it wasn't! i saw absolutely nothing special about the steelers...except...that Troy hit for a fumble! what i did see (with my own eyes "LIVE") was the fact that the Ravens offense is just horrendous and very rarely seem to help the defense when they are playing lights out like last night by putting up points to put teams away!

FINALLY!!! the Ravens players are saying what i and others here on these boards have been saying! keep speaking the truth guys!

What really shocks me after last nights game is that not a lot of people are really blaming Flacco for this loss. The usual closet Flacco haters come out after similar circumstances, but it seems that the consensus around the board is that Cameron is just a blithering idiot. I'm really surprised. What do we need to do to see a change? Lose the first round of the playoffs or not even make them?

Just my two cents.

Also, at least Wilson made up for it with pretty good coverage for most of the game and a pick. Landry did make some pretty good tackles, but that missed tackle on the Redman touchdown was inexcusable. We had that play blown up and he couldn't make the play.

We have to finish out the season with Cam but after we should cut ties an let him get that head coaching position he thinks hes capable of handling just so he can have another 1-15 season for not being able to adapt to change.

I was just wondering why you quoted me. I see you now you were just trying to bring up Wilson's whiffs and you're right.

I don't think you do. We've seen three CBs get benched this season and the coaches didn't trust Cary to play him.

im not saying to bench wilson im just saying to let cary get some time in the game as well to help out on defense an keep our cbs fresh. add him into the rotation of carr, webb, an wilson.

was it just me or did Gooden look terrible yesterday out of place an not even looking to tackle?

Gooden has zero football IQ, other members can attest to this but I've been saying it for over a year now, I cant blame the FO for taking a 240 LB that is that ridiculously athletic, hoping to be able to coach him up...and really if he had half the brain Timmons has he'd be almost as good (alot of "ifs" I know) as Timmons. But he doesnt, so hes not.

I'd give him some time against the Browns but not against teams with the offensive potential of Texans, Saints and Bengals.

Gooden was terrible last night. I'll be surprised if he's back next year.

Fabian Washington is gone after this season. I see the team just rolling with Foxworth, Webb, Carr, and Wilson and a backup after this season.

Once again, our corners are not as bad considering we have only one force in the pass rush. Despite how dominant he has been he is only one man, and we've seen plenty this season Suggs getting blocked and no one else able to put consistent pressure on the quarterback. We need another threat or our corners will get beat every time. Steelers show constantly that you can have average corners and a stout pash rush and survive.(well Mcfadden is a different story lol)

One area I do question in our secondary is SS. Landry is stout against the run but in passing situations he can/will be a liability the way Reed takes chances. We need a better cushion back there.

I agree i dont think Gooden will be back but Washington will probally be kept since he knows the system an plays well in spurts just not long term. Its crazy to think Carr has played the best at CB considering how bad we flammed the poor guy last year. Im glad to digest that crow tho.

NOOO!

I hope and doubt Fabian is brought back. He inconsistent at best in coverage and can't tackle(athough he did make a good one last night).

Cameron's conservative play calling has to change. It's like he doesn't want to seem unsportsmanlike so he isn't willing to run up the score on an opponent when the chance presents itself. The reverse call is what had me fuming the most, you never call that against Pitt, ever.

Regardless, he has to become more aggressive and we can't shoot ourselves in the foot like we did last night. Too many mistakes, missed reads, penalties...
