Players Frustrated

When we drove 92 yards for our only TD which included a 60+ yard pass, I thought this game might not be like all the other Steelers games. Boy was I foolish. Offense did nothing the second half and put too much pressure on our D. Game over.

I didn't read every single post on this thread. So forgive me if this was mentioned.

The biggest problem I see with the offense is the amount of time left to get off a play after they break from huddle. It seems like we break with 9 seconds to get the snap off. There is no time to read the defense.

We need to get to the line of scrimmage with 15 seconds to hike the ball. Allowing Joe to look around and call an audable. just my opinion.

Doubt Cameron is fired mid season though.

or demote him or strip some of his power on playcalling. It isn't Hitler's regime.

Minus the Buffalo and Falcons game...I really cant think of a game that the defense can thank the offense for....cant really say the same for the offense. What bothers me OC wise is there really anyone else that is better than Cam out there in the offseason?

Chargers lost to Oakland. Maybe Norv will be available this offseason

Not sure what your last sentence means but as much as I want Cam gone, who should be calling plays?

Why sign McVie or whatever is name is if we aren't going to utilize him.
He likely wasn't in shape or didn't pick up the playbook?

You know what it's a damn good point. Joe hikes the ball when the clock hits 15s, not even 5s. Most good QB give themselves 10s to view the defense set up before calling the snap at 2-3sec.

Our offense is all about textbook which means it's too damn predictable. We don't adjust to *explicit* anything in game. We'll adjust after the loss. Yeah, lets do that in playoff when after the loss, but instead you adjust it next year!

and maybe just maybe, Marvin Lewis will wanna come back home and get our defense back to what it was
D is fine, O needs the help.....Marvin wouldn't do anything different with the current personnel

I was wondering that myself. All we needed him to do was block and give Joe time to torch. Didn't happen - COACHING DECISION

After last night's game, I don't see what the point of this comment is. However, if you really want Marvin back, is he going to bring some players with him because he alone isn't going to get the Ravens defense back to the way it was.

Again, he may not have been in shape and when there's a chance you don't even know the plays, it isn't as simple as saying "all we needed him to do was block".

man we could have peyton manning, andre johnson, calvin johnson, and Desean Jackson on this offense it wouldn't matter, Cam's playing calling is despicable.

I meant Cam doesn't fit here in Baltimore. At least, we can try Zorn for playcalling. He's not the type of HC, but with OC he can handle that.

Harbauge puts too much trust in his OC when Cam continues to disappoint Baltimore.

I agree with your final point. I've disagree with people saying Harbaugh has no football knowledge but it's pretty apparent his lack of involvement with the offense is an issue now.

Actually, I was confident the entire game up until the fumble. And even then I was certain we were going to drive down into FG range, with a possibility of repeating Week 4. It may not have shown on the scoreboard, but we defnitely had the momentum for nearly the entire game.

That's what stings the most. This (and all other losses this year) game was in the bag. We had won it if not for a few different plays each game. I really wanted a home playoff game!!

Coaching staff has a scared to lose mentality, so let's score just enough then let's go ultra conservative. The players are right we shouldn't have lost the game, but once again done in by the ultra conservative playcalling. If they believe in flacco take the chains off, if not stop masquerading like they do.

9 minutes left and I am wondering why we are doing, run, run, pass, punt against the Steelers. Guys were open a lot yesterday. There were several favorable match ups. We didn't need Gizmo plays to win this game. We just needed Cam to trust Joe and for Joe to get the ball out quicker and call audibles when Troy is on the LoS with no one on him.

Joe didn't need to call an audible there. Oher should have picked him up.

Im new here and this is my first conversation, <deleted> lol... Anyway look, all the Ravens fans can say what they want regarding the play calling, we should have, could have, would have. Truth of the matter is, both teams are tough to beat, the game is 60 minutes long, just like in the first contest, < no trolling or smack>

I believe there is enough talent on this offense to move the ball at will most of the time. The blocking talent was suspect last night, which then falls onto scheming. If CAM is calling the plays, them CAM FAILED. If Joe has audible options, then he failed. Either way, I am sick of Harbaugh sitting back, and not getting involved in the flow of the game. CAM is good for the drive at the start of each half, in game adjustments are killing us. Maybe somebody should be in the booth looking closer at formations and tendencies.

Everyone's really impressed with your Super Bowls :sarcasticclap: save it for someone who gives half a damn. It's unnecessary to bring up that and how "good" you are - that's smack-talk and it's not welcome here. We've filled our quota of Steeler fans for the near future, thanks.

Well Thank You AsianRice. It's kind of simple, but definately a trend with our offense. It's easy to T-off on the offensive line when the defense knows we have to hike the ball.

Its "you're", big guy...

When did you become a Steeler fan? After the 2005 SB or the 2008 one?
