Flacco Calling His Own Plays This Season?

I say no to Flacco calling plays. At times he seems to be way behind on plays. If he was seeing things more clearly and i felt assured that he could recognize what the defense is doing i would be all for it. He still seems slow, stiff and very green at times like he is lost. Folks compare him to Big Ben but he does not even feel pressure and takes more sacks then he should. Like he is wearing cement shoes. He has a great arm but this is why he will be just an average QB. He has no true pocket sense and cannot avoid sacks and to be anything above average you need to be able to feel the pressure and extend plays not just stand there.

He's already above average so your point is flawed

I don't know if I can answer that question without some level of facts to back it. Speaking metaphorically, if a certain team were to affect a QB's focus, then what better way is there to build that QB's confidence then to let him call a few plays? The success of those calls would certainly give him a charge.

Personally, I'm starting to see the light were Flacco is concerned. He's really doing a great job; a little slow on the release, but outstanding nonetheless. Overall, I think the team is really getting better. As play calling goes, against the Steelers, Flacco calling some plays certainly couldn't hurt. We stopped the Steelers once, we'll just have to do it again.

GO RAVENS!!!

Whether he is or not, one thing is for sure. Joe and the Ravens are winning games we used to lose! Joe Cool is showing the leadership and emotion that seperates the best from the rest. It's kind of cool to watch his development, and what it means to the players around him.
