Parking For The Game

10 posts in this topic

This Sunday will be my first Ravens game so this noob is looking for some help! I don't have a parking pass for the stadium lots, so should I find public parking around the city or find some sort of public transportation? Im not fimiliar with the area or the public transportation it offers. Also, I want to get there early enough to see the players enter the stadium. When should I arrive? Thank you for your help!

8am and not a second later. Seriously, I always park/tailgate near Ostend St in the Federal Hill area (beneath the under pass). Enjoy....

Light rail is cheap and convenient, has numerous stops in and outside of the city. If you want to park downtown, there are plenty of smaller lots you can pay to park in and parking garages near the stadium. I think the easiest option is the light rail.

Follow the signs for Closest Parking or J lot on Warner street if you make a rt on to Stockholm down past the dog shelter there is a lot that is 40 bucks

Another suggestion, IDK how many of you have been there before, or even know what this is, but there is usually a lot of people at the firefighters union hall along Ridgely st., right off of West Ostend st. Really good food and a lot of fun there before games.

But the line after the game is very long and the trains do not run that often.

I park at a garage on Lombard and Sharp. I am not familiar with the area right around the stadium. If you park north of the stadium allow about 20 minutes to walk to the stadiium. Wherever you park plan to be at the stadium gate by about 7:15. The line to get in will be long and slow given it is a Steelers game and will be cold so everyone will be bulked up. This gives you time to grab some food/beverage and get to your seat in time for pregame. Introductions are about 10 minutes before game time.

Enjoy yourself and remember to dress WARM.

If you want to tailgate- from 95 take exit 51 (Washington). Once you get off, turn left onto Washington. Then turn right onto Ostend. You will then see grass lots as you get closer to the stadium. They charge around $40 to park. I would get there around 3; no later than 4.
We park in the Ravens Roost 50 lot behind them.

If you don't tailgate, we used to park at the Days Inn on the corner of Pratt.

Light Rail is super cheap and easy. Less than four bucks round trip and the cars are heated.

The most I have ever waited after a game was about thirty minuets. Its really not bad at all.
