I think you have to go with Ben. My reasoning is that 1)Ben is a quarterback, and a QB almost always has a bigger impact on a team than a safety, and 2)We won that game without Reed and they lost without Ben. If it had gone the other way, you could make an argument for Reed, but it would still be impossible to prove.

Sorry to say this, but Reed has never picked off Big Ben before in his career.

Yes, he has. He picked him off in the second Steelers game in '06.

I would say Big Ben if not for the surprising reality that the Steelers seem worse since he's been back. Then again, when Ed came back, we got torched by a meager Buffalo offense.

I really don't know what to expect except a close game.

(Those two words next to each other are killing me).

I dont think the Steelers are worse since Ben has come back. They are 5-2 since Ben came back and lost games to two pretty damn good teams in the Saints and Patriots. The offense the first 4 games without Ben even though the Steelers did win 3 of them was still very very anemic especially the passing game in particular the Falcons and Titans games the first 2 weeks of the season. The offense went off in the Tampa game a little bit scoring 3 TD's through the air I believe. But overall I dont think the Steelers have been any worse since Ben came back. The bottom line is their record is 5-2 and it is what it is so they obviously been doing something right since he has come back...

I chose Reed but it was definitely a biased pick but in the end there is no wrong answer but I think if you say neither will have an impact, that's kind of ridiculous. I do have reasons for picking Reed other than being biased. The fact that he has that ability to take away half the field and somehow get to the ball when you're not expecting are definitely big reasons why. Having Reed makes me less worried about deep throws because I'm sure that's what Reed is looking for to get INT(s). When the ball is floating in the air and Reed is by it he's going for it. Though Ben has had success throwng Reed's way the past few years Reed has also not been 100% in the past couple years. I also think Reed's absence in the first half of the season wasn't really accounted for that much, except for the beginning of the season when everyone said our secondary would be terrible. Reed has a large presence on the fieldand in my opinion has made others step up their game.

I'm also looking at the teammates around them. I think everyone on our defense gives the team the slight upperhand. If they can exploit the Steeler Oline then that can rush passes and get to Ben. In no way do I think we'll crush the Steelers, though it'd be enjoyable if we did. I'm also not underplaying Ben's presence. He brings a lot to the offense, confidence, extending plays, and all that other stuff he does. In the end Ben will have more stats and what not but who knows a Reed INT might end up sealing the deal for the Ravens. Anyway, this has gone on long enough I'm done.

I don't mind the Steelers fans posting on our forums. It just shows that even they can't stand Steelers fans so much they'd rather have a discussion with their number one enemies.

And I answered "Even" on the poll. They pretty much cancel each other out as far as game changing plays go.
