I'm a bit disappointed with our choice.

Thought we would get a good CB in the first.

But I don't know exactly how good Flacco is, so he will show how good he is.

Troy Smiths still the future

my bet is troy smith is done in balt unless someone gets hurt, boller will start maybe play this whole year and flacco will take over next year.

Agreed. I still stand by the & believe that Ozzie know what he is doing & did not make the same mistake with Flacco that he did Boller. Ozzie knows what he is doing.

Probably Flacco, why else would we draft him in the first. I don't like this pick

Have faith in Ozzie. He knows what he is doing & I am sure did not make the same mistake here as he did with Boller. I say let all 3 fight it out & the est QB starts.

Deja vou. Hopefully, with a new coaching staff things will work out better for us. Hopefully. I think this was a reach though. We could have set at 26 and got him.

Flacco is a first round pick. This is his team. There is no competition. If we would have taken him in the 2nd round maybe, Troy had a shot but now he might not even make the roster. What a pity.

Wrong. Troy has no shot at being our future now because there will not be a QB competition now. It doesnt matter if Boller or Smith is a better option going into the future. They traded up to get Flacco, he is the guy. Hopefully, with a new coaching staff things will turn out better this time but I am not very confident. This was a HUGE reach by Ozzie.

As long as we don't throw him in to the wolves the 1st game like Boller was...I would let Flacco sit at least 6 games before we start him, if we are doing bad.

I dont think so, Every QB on the Roster has a shot at starting, Troy Smith can not flash his Heisman Trophy and expect to start. He did not show He was a starter last year, so this year He has to show that He's has learned and if He beats Flacco out then Ill be excited, If the O-Line plays anywhere like it did last year then Troy Smith should have the Job.

Big Arm

Mobile

OH LAWDY NOT AGAIN

I think He plays like Rothisberger, Not very good footwork but has good poket presence and knows when to get rid of the ball, Hopefully He is as tough as Rothisberger tho.

Flacco played at my school. Give him a year to learn the system then start him. You guys are going to be happy. He's a heck of a ball player

Sorry. Ozzie's track record on QB's isnt exactly something to be excited about.

Thank You I hope you are right! I also think that the QB that is replacing Flacco is a kid from Arundel High here in MD. I'm not 100% sure on that, but that kid can play some football. So good luck on your next QB also.

You really think they are going to pay Flacco first round money to sit on the bench behind Troy Smith, if Troy Smith does win the starting job? I think your sadly mistaken. If we would have taken Flacco in the second round it would have been a real competition but now it doesnt matter how Boller or Smith do. Flacco is the guy, eventually, end of discussion.

i agree like i said before, you give him something to play for he's going to win it. He is the qb you want if your rebuilding. Give him a year and he'll be your guy. But don't throw him in right away and expect him to be payton manning. Give him a chance, he's a rookie and rookies make mistakes. It might be touch and go the first year, but the second id be willing to put money that your going to have a franchise QB. Again, i watched him play for 2 years. He may not be the fastest but he makes good choices and he doesnt rattle easy.

Im glad he went to you guys, you have a good team that just needs a little push in the right direction. He can come in and make a difference, and i expect him too. That and the ravens are close to home so i can always swing down to watch a game lol

Sorry. Ozzie's track record on QB's isnt exactly something to be excited about.

This isn't Billick pressuring Ozzie to draft Kyle. This is Ozzie, Harbaugh, & most importantly Cam Cameron looking at this. I think they know better then we do about comparing our QB's & moving forward.

Glad to see another Delaware Blue Hen here like myself.

With all this "disappointment" that some have expressed here, at least WE know what the Ravens are getting in Flacco. After all, WE'VE seen him play. :)

I have not seen him play - but I believe this organization knows what they are doing - especially with the new front office. I am GLAD Flacco is our QB of the future!!!! B):D:lol::rolleyes:

WOW...what a trash first round pick...

First of all, we still have Troy, he did well in the season finale. I have not given up, nor will I ever.

Second, we could have got him in the second round.

Third, he played DII, if stats are any indication, Troy trumps his whole career.

Fourth, WE NEEDED A CORNERSTONE CORNERBACK FOR THE DEFENSE.

Fifth, read my user name, it speaks truths across this board.

Hmmmmm <_<:blink:B) You don't think you might be a little bias do you?? :D . I say let the QB's fight it out & let the best 1 play - if it's Smith - so be it. Boller - fine. Flacco - no problem. Let Cam & Harb evaluate & make the decision.

I think 1 thing we are missing here is that when Steve McNair retired - we went into rebuilding mode immediately. This organization wanted to try 1 more run with their vets before we rebuilt. Mc9 left - so we rebuild.

I for 1 am fine with that. Lets get the best QB on the field & start fighting  with the other AFC north! ;)
